Dinah

Ally was pacing the waiting room when we arrived. Her teary eyes met Lauren's. Lauren opened her arms for her girlfriend to seek comfort in.

" S-She was left outside her house behind a bush, unconscious," Ally explained." I was calling her and she didn't answer. I knew something happened."

" I shouldn't have left her alone," I shook my head." This wouldn't have happened if I was there with her. I just didn't want to wake her. She didn't have class today."

" She couldn't have came with us," Lauren reminded me." Arin would have been there along with Leon's punk ass."

I wish I made that deal with Leon earlier. Normani would be safe all the time. I wouldn't need to worry as much as I do now.

" Ally!" Mrs Hamilton rushed towards her along with her husband, who hates Lauren and I now immensely.

" Why are you two here?" He snapped at Lauren and I." You're probably the reason my daughter is in that bed!"

" I-" I didn't know what to say

" We wouldn't hurt her or let anyone lay a hand on her," Lauren defended ourselves." She's our friend."

" Where were y'all when this happened?" Mr Hamilton crossed his arms.

Lauren and I shared a glanced. My lower lip went in between my teeth. I didn't want to lie, but I knew we couldn't tell the truth.

" They were looking at baby clothes," Ally jumped in." For Normani when she was pregnant."

" Was?" Mrs Hamilton raised an eyebrow.

" Normani was pregnant with Arin's baby till she lost it when she was beaten," she informed the two of them." That's all the doctors told me."

Normani's parents turned silent. They took their seats across from where we took ours. Ally sat in Lauren's lap snuggled into Lauren's neck.

Lauren

It's been a couple of hours since Normani has been unconscious. Normani may not be close to me, but she's close to Dinah and Ally. Those two wouldn't know what to do with themselves if she died. I had to talk to someone about this shit.

" Dinah," I called.

Humming, She made eye contact with me. Ally was dead asleep in my arms. I needed to leave , and put her somewhere else comfortable.

" I need to go," I moved Ally into her arms. I could see in her eyes she felt awkward holding the sleeping girl." I will be quick."

" Please be fast ," Dinah begged." I need you."

I sat in my car, Pondering. This could be a totally bad idea. Then again, it could be what I need at a time like this. Cautiously, I made my way to the door. I rang the doorbell repeatedly just so they knew who was waiting outside.

" Where's your bitch at?" Ty said after he opened the door.

" Don't call her that," I rolled my eyes, walking in.

Unexpectedly, Ty shoved me against the door. Of course he would think in here to suck his dick.

" Get the fuck off of me," I growled." I'm here to talk."
