1 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?
Wow. Hm, how does eating out and keeping people up all night sound?
2 what's your favorite holiday and why?
Definitely Christmas.
o n e : My family and I live on the highest hill in our neighborhood (if there was a tsunami we'd probably die last if we took safety measures correctly). That ALSO meant we had the biggest snow hill during winter, and what better time to go sledding and risk our lives then on Christmas when the whole family's gathered?
t w o : I'm family-oriented major time. I get to see my cousins which are basically my siblings, little babies, and family from other countries like Vietnam and Germany.
3 what's your daily writing routine?
Ah.. I last-minute my writings, but I tend to do well under pressure with a time-limit before I publish my next chapters for my stories. When I write I like to lie in bed and listen to music. Then again it's probably not the BEST method.. I fall asleep and next thing I know it's tomorrow.
4 what's your favorite book?
Amber House by Kelly Moore, Tucker Reed, and Larkin Reed.
5 who is your favorite author outside Wattpad?
I feel like every author who gets asked this suddenly goes into intense-anxiety mode haha. Like we always say, there's way too many! I AM currently enjoying Cornelia Funke's Inkheart series though, and I must say I love her for writing them.
6 what's your favorite aspect of Wattpad?
The fact that readers can comment on specific parts of your story and give their reaction/ feedback. There's something about that that makes me happy.
7 what's your favorite snack?
I ♡ crêpes! My siblings and I tend to over-do it with the whip-cream for some reason however. I don't particularly enjoy or dislike whip-cream by the way, but something about it is fun.
8 how would you spend a rainy day?
Talk about coincidence. It's been raining in my area for decades. I could.. possibly write. My grandma would tell me to go outside soon though to save her plants from over-watering. (No one would save me rip..) I'm still waiting for my unrealistic umbrella scene.
9 how would you handle a bully?
Pft, Taekwondo student here. Also, Taekwondo cousins with an 's' that will come at anyone's throats if you mess with the fam. Realistically though, I'm an angel in school. Anyone who tries to bully me won't get the reaction they expect if they did. The classmates that follow me throughout my school years would scold them in my place, oddly cute enough. If I were to handle one directly though, staying calm and using words WITHOUT cursing (which is hard for most people around me) can make more of an impact than yelling profanities that you hear everyday.
10 what's your dream vacation?
I'd like to go back to my parent's home country actually. It's not very safe or even healthy to go back at the moment because of politics and environmental issues, but I have loved ones living there that I miss very much.
11 what's your piece of advice you'd give a newcomer?
Well, there's different kinds of newcomers. But ultimately, I'll give one to readers and one to writers.
To new coming readers coming to read stories, my advice to you from personal experience is to not be afraid or hesitant in leaving a positive comment while reading someone's book. Some authors like me check every single comment we get. They help motivate us and sometimes even fix our own mistakes.
To new coming writers, my advice to you is to only publish what you would want to read. If you're not content with what you put out, who is to say you wouldn't give up on the story later down the road? And let me just say that readers HATE investing their time in something that won't ever be complete. Publish for yourself, but do keep in mind where you're going with your stories. There are many types of writing you could do and there are MANY genres. Find ones that fit you and stay dedicated to your work. Recognition comes with time and your own determination to achieve it.
Request time!
First, who am I? Hi ♡ I'm MINNA, author of Wattpad's action-based series, AGENT W. I'm proud to say that Agent W has been noticed enough by both Wattpad readers and other sites for it to reach in Action several times and be considered for a Royalties Program. I poured my heart into writing my book so I've been a trending action writer for a while now too, which I am grateful for.
If you enjoy stories about agents specifically, I would love for you to try AGENT W! I'm still an improving author myself so the story's not perfect without readers interacting with it. If things like sniping, hacking, bombing, teamwork, etc. catches your eye, I hope you consider starting with AGENT W!
