Olivia
~One year later~

I'm finally turning sixteen in a couple days. Luke hasn't been around as much as he and I are still like strangers, that live together. I don't know what he's going out to do that occupies most of his time, but I would rather him be here.

"Olivia, honey! What are you doing for your 16th?" My mother asks as she comes down the stairs. She's been asking the same questions for the past week; honey, do you know what you're doing for your 16th? Did you need help with planning your 16th? What are you going to be doing for your 16th? I'm really starting to get fed up of it but I think I know what I want. Only problem is, I have to get my mother to agree.

"Mum... I was wondering if I could have a few friends over... everyone I know and I've made friends with over the past year... and I was also wondering if I could have some alcohol as well...?" I ask, my mother looking at me with bewilderment in her eyes before my step-father Andy comes up behind her.

"Of course you can, sweetheart. I'll go out and buy you a bunch of bottles. How many did you need to have a fun night with your friends?" Andy has become like a father to me, but not at the same time. I feel like he's still trying to get me to like him by doing the things I want and taking my side over other peoples. I don't want him to think I still don't like him because he's the only one out of the 'father's' I've had that's actually cared about me.

"Andy! She's only 16. She can't have a bunch of people over with alcohol also around. It's not safe for them!" Mum yells, bringing my attention back onto reality before I sigh and look down at my computer screen, continuing to type my english essay while they bicker amongst themselves about whether I should or shouldn't have a big party with alcohol.

"She's only 16, you're right. But would you want her drinking alcohol in the safety of our own home, or would you want her out on the streets with perves looking and trying to touch what isn't theirs and violate her?" Andy asks, making me look up from my computer screen and look at the both of them, seeing the realization of what Andy's saying cross over her face.

"It's okay, Mum and Dad. I'll be there to make sure she's safe and that nothing happens to her." Luke reassures, making my mother and step-father stop their annoying bickering to look at Luke, seeing him standing at my bedroom door, making his way into the room to sit on my bed.

"You sure Luke...? You don't have to give up your Saturday night for this..." Mum tells him, making me sigh and look back at my laptop screen, my iPhone X going off.

"No, it's fine. I'm sure. I don't mind. I'm not doing anything anyway." Luke explains, making me look back at him, a smile forming on my face as I see him looking at me with the smile on his face, the smile he always has when he's around me.

'Thank you' I mouth, turning back to look at our parents, a hopeful smile on my face as my mother looks down at me, reluctant-ness appearing on her face. I smile at her more, showing off my white teeth before she sighs, making me smile even more.

"Only Saturday night and as soon as Luke leaves, everyone else leaves as well." Mum demands, making me nod my head, a bigger smile appearing on my face. I jump up from my seat and wrap my arms around my mother, my skirt still stuck on my curve of my ass.

"Thank you mum! Thank you!" I exclaim, happy she's letting me have a party for my 16th here.

"No worries, but I'm not the only one you have to thank." Mum says, making me pull away and jump over to Andy, wrapping my arms around his neck, thanking him. He puts his arms around me and fixes my skirt, making sure my ass isn't on display anymore.

"Okay, sweetheart. Just be safe. Your mother and I are going out for the weekend. We'll be here for your birthday on Friday, until about 7 o'clock at night, and then we're going. Luke will be here all day and all weekend." Andy says, giving me a kiss on the forehead, before he unwraps his arms from around my waist and leaves the room after giving Luke a look, my mother following closely after him.
