{Sabre's POV}
When I woke up, (Y/N) was gone. I heard a scream come from upstairs in (Y/N)'s room. I ran upstairs and knocked on the door. No answer. I heard another scream. It sounded like it was coming from inside the bathroom. I opened the door to her room and rushed over to the bathroom. I heard a third scream. I knocked on the locked door."(Y/N), what's wrong?!" I panicked. "Sabre, ignore me! I'm fine!" I heard her yell. She screamed a fourth time. I broke down the bathroom door and saw (Y/N) with a razor blade in her hand. She was bleeding a lot and she had sliced her skin several times. "(Y/N), what the heck?!?" I yelled, desperately trying to get the blade out of her hand.
She quickly made 3 more slices and screams. Then she dropped the blade and ran. I picked up the blood drenched blade and washed it off. I put it in a locked box and ran back downstairs to get the rest of the knives and blades. I put them in the box and locked it up, hiding the key in my pocket. I ran back downstairs to see (Y/N) sobbing on the couch, bleeding too much.
"(Y/N), are you alright?" I asked, examining her arm and wrapping it up in medical wrap. "Sabre, I hate not being loved!" she sobbed. "I don't know what it's liked to be loved! I never got it from anyone!" "You're loved, (Y/N)," I replied, putting my hand on her cheek. "You just don't know that." "Then why doesn't it show itself?!?" I looked down.
"Well, I have to set up for a party, you wanna attend?" I asked, getting cups from the cabinet and getting beer bottles from the fridge. "I guess, it'll take my mind off of the self harming," she replied softly. I nodded and set up everything for the party. The music, the refreshments, everything. I heard the doorbell and everyone came.
"Who's ready to get drunk?" asked Preston, throwing his fists in the air. He looked over at (Y/N). "Dude, who's the girl?" "That's (Y/N), my friend I met at the park the other day." "Why is she wrapped in medical wrap?" Preston pointed out. "She's suicidal," I whispered. "Her parents abused her and she doesn't know how to love." He gave me an understanding look and everyone went in and started to party.
[Time Skip]
Later during the party, everyone was getting drunk and the party was getting too turned up. (Y/N)'s anxiety couldn't take it, so she went outside for some fresh air. I went with her, considering I don't drink. It was a cold night, so I gave her my "Light Sabre" sweatshirt and huddled close to her."You okay?" I asked her. She nodded and whimpered. I hugged her and held her tight. I got some blood on me from her scars bleeding through the sleeves and me, getting too close, but I didn't care. As long as I was with (Y/N). She started to break down. "I'm sorry you have to deal with me, Sabre!" she yelled.
"I don't have to deal with you. I want to deal with you," I said, holding her up. "Sabre, I can't love, even if I try," she said, getting up. "I don't have anyone that loves me." Suddenly, I did something unspeakable without thinking about it. I've wanted to do this ever since I layed my eyes on (Y/N). I kissed her.
I didn't get a response, so I was gonna pull away, but I felt something. She kissed back. It was sweet and passionate. We broke for air. I smiled at (Y/N). "I love you, (Y/N)," I say, wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her again. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed back. We both blushed. She smiled. I was happy that she could feel love for the first time.
