The treehouse was a safe haven for Youngmi. Most people had no idea of its existence. When she was young she would sneak off to the forest were she would play pretend. It was when she was 12 years old that she found the treehouse when out playing with her twin sister. They were playing hide and seek, and as she looked for her sister she found a small treehouse up in the biggest tree. As she climbed up the stairs she saw that the treehouse was old and the wood weathered. It seemed to have history. As she entered she saw that it had two distinct rooms and posters on the wall. As she was looking around, her sister had come out of hiding to look for her after  she waited for over 10 minutes.

"Youngmi. Youngi. She heard her sister yell from down below. "Where are you?" It was when she heard the wavering in her sisters voice that she decided to descend the stair to reassure her sister of her safety.

"Chaemi. Mi. I'm right here." She said walking towards her sister.  ready to give the girl a comforting hug. "There's something I want to show you." she said walking toward the ladder, her sister right behind her.

She could see the wonder in the girls eyes and how her entire face lit up. And she knew she did the right thing in showing her sister. The girls explored the entire treehouse, top to bottom, until day turned into night.

As they walked home that night they realized that they had found a safe haven. A place to run away to, and escape reality.
