The next day Molly was out in her backyard laying out in the sun when she heard a loud truck rumbling from the front yard and thought nothing of it until someone rang her doorbell.
It was Sunday morning, who the hell was ringing her doorbell?! And when she finally got to the front door they were gone and only a brown package greeted her on the porch. Again, it was Sunday, so why was she receiving a package? But the note taped on the top read, "sorry-left on truck yesterday."
But when she picked it up she realized it wasn't even for her. Dominick's name was in the deliver to box and she rolled her eyes. First the guy forgets to drop the package off yesterday and now he brings it to the wrong house?
She looked over at Dominick's and saw that it was quiet so she should be safe to run over and leave it on his front stoop without him noticing.
And she almost made it. He pulled into his driveway right when she bent down to drop the package off and he got out of his car with a surprised look on his face.
"Molly?"
"Sorry, I was just..." she pointed to the box behind her and then turned back to him as her entire body froze.
A stunningly beautiful brunette who was dressed in nearly nothing got out of the passenger side and cocked an eyebrow at Molly.
"W-what are you doing here, Molly?" Dominick asked, eyeing her with suspicion and curiosity.
Molly felt a lump forming in her throat as her emotions nearly took over. Here she thought Dominick was still into her with all his stupid passes and flirting with her but now he brought home this obvious porn star and it was clear to Molly that she was and always would be just a piece of ass to Dominick. After all, that was what he did for a living, so what made her any different?
"Just bringing a package by," she kept her eyes adverted as she began back across the yard but Dominick was quick and stopped her.
"You don't have to go so soon, ya know." He stated.
"You have company, I need to go back..." she pointed to her house and tried not to cry.
"Molly, this isn't..." he pointed towards the brunette in his driveway but Molly stopped him with her hand up in the air.
"Don't care, Dominick, it's not my business anymore. It never really was." She pulled her arm from his grasp, "have a nice day." She replied sarcastically and a bit bitchy over her shoulder as she stepped onto her porch and then slammed the door behind her after entering her house.
She was fucking livid. Here she felt completely guilty for going on a date with Noah and actually trying to move on with her life while also thinking that Dominick still wanted her as much as she still wanted him, but that was clearly not the case.
He can screw whomever he wants! She stormed into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of wine and instead of grabbing a glass she just took the whole bottle with her back outside and laid back down in the lounger.
Dominick was driving her to drink. Literally.

Almost three quarters of the bottle later and Molly was drunk. She had turned on her favorite playlist to drown out her thoughts and any sounds she might here coming from Dominick's. But once the playlist ended the music shut off in just enough time to hear Dominick and the brunette laughing next door. Her slutty, girly laugh pissed Molly off even more.
And of course Molly waa curious, so she walked over to the fence where there was a small gap between the boards and a perfect spying hole and peeked in.
She saw Dominick and the brunette sitting at his bar and she had her hand on his forearm in a seductive manner and they were both laughing. The view pissed Molly off big time and that's when her bad mood and the wine mixed to give her a vindictive idea. She wasn't going to see Noah again but after seeing Dominick with the skank, she wanted revenge.
So she grabbed her phone and called Noah and he picked up after the third ring.
"Noah! Hi!" She spoke loudly in hopes that Dominick would hear her, "I'm terribly sorry about the other night."
"Are you okay? I was so worried when I woke up and you weren't there." He replied.
"I know. I'm so sorry," she lowered her voice, "I lost my phone charger and couldn't call you. But I am now."
"Dang. Well, how are you feeling today? Are you going to make it into work tomorrow?" Noah asked with a concerned voice.
And for just a split second she felt bad for what she was about to do, but when she stepped up onto her deck and saw Dominick out the corner of her eye staring in her direction, she was back to her vindictive mood. "Yes, I will be there. But, I was wondering if you'd like to take me to dinner tonight?"
She turned to look directly over the fence and right into Dominick's eyes and he did not look happy. His jaw was tight and he was completely ignoring what the brunette was saying to him as he continued to glare at Molly.
"Yeah, that would be awesome. I'll pick you up at six then?" Noah asked.
"Great. Six. I'll see you then." She hung up the phone and kept her glare held onto Dominick's mimicked glare.
Then she watched him shake his head as he looked away and stood up from his bar and went inside, leaving the brunette out there all by herself looking confused.

Noah pulled into her driveway precisely at six and she was waiting for him by the front door. As she walked out she noticed movement over at Dominick's and she turned to find him getting in the car with the brunette again. Then he turned to look back at Molly with this weird grin on his face, but Molly ignored it.
"Hi." Noah greeted her on the sidewalk as Molly gave him a tight smile. He leaned forward and kissed her cheek as she approached him, "are you ready?"
She nodded, "ready as I'll ever be." And that statement had more than one meaning.
They got into Noah's truck and headed out.
The restaurant Noah chose wasn't a fancy one and that was okay with Molly because she was hoping it wasn't going to be a romantic dinner. The hostess sat them in the booth as they started looking over the menu's in quiet.
Then Molly looked up as her eyes went huge and she held her breath. "What the fuck..." she breathed out but glad Noah didn't hear her.
She watched Dominick walk in with the brunette and sit at a table behind Noah and of course Dominick took the seat that faced Molly.
Was he serious right now? Who does he think he is?
This night was already going to be awkward without her having to stare at Dominick the whole time. What a nightmare.
"Know what you're getting?" Noah asked as he looked at her over his menu.
Molly hadn't look at all but she nodded anyways, pulling her eyes away from Dominick and pasting a fake smile on her face for Noah.
Then she reached across the table and touched his arm, "I really am sorry about the other night. I didn't want to wake you." She glanced in Dominick's direction and he was glaring at her through hooded eyes and a half-grin plastered on his face.
