Damon-Training

(A.N. I decided I was going to change up the way I format my imagines. Hopefully this is good)

Imagine having a crush on Damon, but having a boyfriend. Damon makes you train with him, and he shows you what you're doing wrong.

''I'll see you later.'' I close the door to my boyfriend's house. I have been dating Austin(Random Name) for four months. I like him, but he doesn't compare to Damon Salvatore. I've had a crush on Damon since I've known him. We met two years ago. He has never shown any interest, so I push it down and don't let it show.

I make my way to the Salvatore house to train with Damon. Since I'm still human, he think it's his job to teach me how to protect myself, even though I took six years of martial arts and boxing classes.

''Damon!'' I shout out into the house.

''Downstairs!'' I hear him shout back. I drop my back next to the door and go down to the basement and to Damon.

''Morning.'' I say to him.

''Yeah, sure. Let's get started.'' I nod and tighten my shoelaces.

''I still dont understand why I have to train with you. I have trained in martial arts for six years.

''Because you haven't had to deal with vampire speed, strength, or stamina.'' He vamp speeds to me.

''Fine.'' I put my hands up to defend myself and get ready. I punch to him and he catches my fist. I try to kick him and he pushes my leg away. He throws a swing my way. I dodge it, and swing at him again, missing. He throws a blow to my stomach causing my to double over in pain. It hurts, but it makes me more mad. I punch at him twice, hitting him once, but I can tell it didnt hurt.

''Okay, stop. You aren't doing it right. You have to be quick and unpredictable. Whenever you are about to punch, you scrunch your eyebrows and wind you arm back too far. When you're about to kick, you plant your feet. Here,'' He comes behind me. He grabs my arm to keep me from moving. He takes his hand and runs it down my side. ''You feel this muscle right here?'' I nod and my breath catches in my throat. ''That muscle is what helps you when you strike. Done wind up your arm, move your body. Got it?'' He asks. I nod again, waiting for him to move his hand from me.

''I- I. Okay.'' I stumble over my words becasue he still hasn't moved. I feel his head get closer to mine.

''What's the matter, Y/n?'' He whispers into my ear.

''N-Nothing.'' I pull myself away from him and look at him.

''Doesn't seem like nothing.''

''I need to leave, Damon.'' I say and turn to go up the stairs.

''We've only been training for ten minutes.'' He vamp speeds again to me and stands in front of the door. ''Do I make you nervous?''

''No.'' I swallow hard and my eyes quickly flicker to his lips befroe going back up to his eyes. He notices and I feel him leaning in to me. He kisses me, and almost immediately, I pull back.

''What's wrong?'' He asks me.

''I umm, I can't cheat on Austin. If this is going to be something that you actually want, then I will break up with him first, but I can't be a plaything.'' I tell him.

''I want this. I have wanted this for so long Y/n.''

''Do you mean it? I know how you are, Damon.''

''I know how I am. And I mean it.'' He says. I nod and leave the basement to go back to Austin's house.

~~Skip breaking up with Austin~~

I broke up with Austin. He respected my decision and the fact that I told him and broke it off before I cheated. I run into the Salvatore house and run to find Damon. I first go into his room and see him on his bed. I run to him and jump on his bed.

''God, Y/n.'' I smile at him and kiss him. He smiles into the kiss and grabs onto my face to pull me closer to him. After about fifteen seconds, we break away and I smile again at him. ''I guess it's over with Austin?'' I laugh and nod.

''Want to continue training?'' I ask him.

''Whoa, Y/n. I think it's a little to soon, but sure. If you're offering.'' He smirks at me.

''No, not like that, Damon.'' I scoff at him.

''Sure. That's what you meant.'' He chuckles sarcastically. I shake my head at him and smile. I finally got Damon.
