I stare deep into my eyes. 'What did she mean I had closed eyes?' Droplets of water roll down my face, and my hair is stuck to my forehead. Giving up on trying to find out what she ment I take my towel and dry my face. I shake out my hair as I walk into my room. With the towel still in my hand I walk over to the bed where Mavis put clothes for me. Setting down the towel I pick up the first thing I see. A long sleeve shirt. It is black with grey stripes. I put it on and roll up the sleeves past my elbows. I put on the black jeans she also has layed out and then I put on black boots. She left for work so I plan on going for a walk. As I step outside the wind chills my skin, so I go back up stairs and get the leather jacket she has for me. Now I set out on my... ummm... well I don't know I guess im just roaming around. So after a block around this place I found out it was New York city. Which is apparently the "Big Apple", but I don't know it's suppose to be really popular. Anyways the people I pass by are very high class, gothic, or crazy. They payed no attention to the others just to the ones who were like them. My thoughts became a jumble. What if this is the demon capital? What if every demon that wishes to become human is here? "To answer all your pathetic questions it is yes. Yes, this is the demon capital, and yes, this is where all demons show up." I turn to face a woman who is very beautiful. She is tall, about up to my chin, she has curves tht on this land all girls would want, her face is angled delicately, and her eyes are.... yellow???? "Who are you!" I spit out at her face. "Oh how cute. The different one doesn't even remember his seeder. Well to be honest my name here is Anastasia." She smiles and it still can stretch across her face which makes me truly remember. "How... did you... get here?" I say in short breathes. She laughs, and it sends chills down my spine. "You are pathetic. Really you are." she pauses to giggle at herself. "Okay special one I'll tell you all there is to these little secrets the demons hide. First, it's that if you are a seeder you can come and go as you please. Which volates rule number seven. Second, there was a hidden prophecy that only seeders could find out about.... Oh my satan! Could you please stop gawking at my eyes they are contacts see." She puts her hand up to her eye and pulls out this plastic gel eye thing tht is bright yellow. Her natural eye as a human isn't far off, but it is more green than yellow. "Okay now that we have that covered may we proceed?" Quickly I shake my head, and she continues. "Good. Now where was I? Oh yes the prophecy. Well it is said that one day a demon with as much emotion as a human when they are still a demon will rise above. He is to meet the girl who has experienced love once in her demon life. They together can take over the hell that reins so terribly. It is also believed that he is the only one who can sheld their story. The pain that he so hated." I stand for a second then reply. "So you believe it's me? That can't be right you know everything about me!" She laughs to herself which makes her alittle attractive, but I brush it off. "Though that may be true the prophecy will have to unlock his power of concealment. So I know for a fact that you are him. Before you scream out the other law that forbids relations with other demons it's only because of the prophecy. So really you can get away with breaking that law." She winks at me and then grabs my hip to push me forward as in we were just strolling on a date. I lean down to her ear, so I could keep this between us. "What do I have to do first?" She nuzzles my nose and whispers, "it's called finding the unseen. It is code for finding your power." So that's what mavis ment. Did mavis's mother teach her the prophecy? "Okay we really need to teach you A-S-A-P!" She says with a giggle.
