Chapter One
*Government HQ*
Daniel's POV
"We have brought to our attention that America's population has decreased massively." I begin. "And to solve this, we have made a new plan to produce a healthy new generation. This PowerPoint will show you what will happen in the next two years." I press the button on the little remote to being the presentation.
"The first stage is to get all the government and most importantly the president on board with the idea" I show them a chart showing the population of America, and how much it has dropped. "As this chart shows, the population has dropped by 20%. Which you may say isn't a lot but that 20% could be our doctors, nurses, fire fighters, and other important people."
The following slide I show is wellbeing of the living, "Now this chart shows the well-being of all the living in America, it tells us that only 23% of the population is healthy, that they have no cancer, or any other life threatening illnesses or even any disabilities that could affect their lives."
"This number again is only small but if you put it against the percentage of the remaining population, 77% is unhealthy." It was shocking but people needed to be told, so that we could do something about it. And hopefully they will approve of the plan that I have yet to tell them.
"Daniel, what is the plan then?" The president speaks up, making me cut to the chase.
"The plan is to go to all high schools around America, and get the seniors who have healthy enough family history to take part to create the new generation. To do this, we will pair up all the legible seniors with the person who matches them best. We will get all the girls pregnant with the male's sperm which we have paired them up to, and this can be chosen to be done anyway, such as naturally or by insemination." I take a deep breath before carrying on my speech.
"All girls become pregnant, if any miscarriages happen; they will either retry or will be removed from the plan. The pairs will have to live together either in an apartment, or a house that no one is living in because of the population percentage. Suggesting that there will be a lot of houses that no one are using around America, which will be enough to home each pair up to create a life for the new healthy generation." I finish up my speech.
"We have named this 'The Generation Project'" I say lastly, pointing to the board, with the finale slide of the PowerPoint reading 'The Generation Project'.
"Now any questions?" The most important part, to make sure everyone is on the right page for this plan.
"How will we get all the parents of the children on board with this? After all we are getting their 17 or 18 year olds pregnant!" A random man speaks up.
"We will just have to tell them the problem at hand, and hopefully they will understand the situation and approve." I answer his question before I ask, "any other questions?" I hear no response so I ask them, "Do I have the go ahead to do this?"
"Only on one condition, you have to go across America and tell each school what will be happening, and you have to find out the accommodation. If this is a success, you will have a triple pay" the president says, I give him a shake of the hand and told him that I will do it all and it will be ready for the following month.
Now all I had to do was to inform all the high schools in America.
