"Pipe bombs." Gideon states.
I explain, "They were sent in cardboard boxes."
"Package bomb." Hotch says.
Gideon questions, "Sent through the mail?"
"No. The other picture in your hand is of the switch that ATF found. Same mechanism for both bombs, mercury-activated." Derek divulges.
"What does that mean?" Elle asks.
Spencer speaks up, "There are contacts to a detonator on either end of a bent tube full of mercury."
"That means if you tilt or jostle the package a little bit it will go off." I explain.
She replies, "So they couldn't have been sent through the mail. The bomber had to deliver them himself."
Derek nods, "Exactly." He tells her and sips from his coffee, reaching behind him and handing me a mug.
"I love you." I exclaim and take a long sip.
"Strange way to commit an act of terrorism. Why go to all this trouble to kill just a few people?" Hotch asks.
Gideon tells us, "Let's recommend not raising the terror alert level for now. No reason to spread panic."
Just then JJ walks in and says, "We got news. This is just a local channel, but the coverage is everywhere now--CNN, FOX, MSNBC, AL JAZEERA, you name it."
"I think the panic is already spreading." I state and sip my coffee again, looking at my mug, this isn't mine. Derek bought me a mug, awe.
I listen as Gideon says, "If DHS doesn't raise the terror alert now, they'll look weak." I sigh.
Hotch orders, "Make sure Homeland Security knows that this is everywhere."
My head snaps to the screen when a bomb goes off, "Holy..." I trail off, my eyes not leaving the screen.
"Looks like we're going to Palm Beach. Let's meet at the airstrip in twenty." Hotch demands and everyone gets moving.
"Hey, Brainiac! Can you give me a ride?" I question, running up to Spencer and he nods.
"Sure, you're on the way." He replies.

I start to pack after Spencer leaves. Pants, check. Shirts, check. Undergarments, check. Shoes, check. Socks, check. Bathroom stuff, check. Hairties, check. Books, check. Gun, check. I sigh and head towards my closet and pull out the box, I open it up and plead, "Please, don't let it be him, God. Please."
