Kita's P.O.V

Kade my younger brother has gotten into his sixth fight this month over something absolutely stupid. I know my whole family is full of idiots but I really wish he didn't fall into the same hole.

"Wtf were you thinking kade!" I scream while he sits on his bed stroking his hair. "Well obviously I wasn't thinking Kita and it's like ten o'clock we can talk about this later but I'd much rather go to sleep before Aunt Rosa comes home, realizes we're awake and makes us clean everything when it's already clean," he says back. "Fine, only because you're right and I don't wanna deal with the family crack head tonight but we will talk about this first thing tomorrow because I'm not allowing you to get suspended just so you can stay home and get high"
I throw my hands in the air. "You cannot be talking about someone getting suspended when you spray painted the lockers to get back at your ex" he responded "First of all nobody will know it was me" I snapped, Then the boy from class crossed my mind. He was very cute but seemed to gullible for me. "Can you please get out and stop daydreaming?" He said snapping me out of thought. I roll my eyes while leaving his room entering my own. Getting dressed in my t-shirt and underwear I lay down in bed and drift to sleep.

September 20th
I wake up to the smell of some type of chemical it's either my brother or my aunt or possibly a combo of both. I get up and knock on my brother's door, "Kade get up idiot." I yell at his door. I make my way to the bathroom and do my normal routine. Then Kade starts banging on the door like he's a crazy person. I don't tend to panic so I act normal and open the door. "What do you want?" I question, He looks as if he's out of breath. He breathes out the words "Its aunt Rosa" with a breath in between each word. "what about her?" I asked "Shes passed out downstairs" He answers I didn' think too much about it this isn't the first time, I finish in the bathroom and make my way down the stairs.
I see her laid out on the kitchen floor with a straw hanging close to her face. Picking her up with the help of kade and dragging her to the couch. I fell her pulse so I know if shes still alive which she was. I look at kade and speak, "she'll wake up soon" Kade looked at me with concern "Um Kita are you sure she looks pretty dead this time" "I'm positive she looked pretty dead the last time and shes still here, she'll be fine but we gotta go" I honestly only go to school so I don't end up a complete failure like the rest of my family. I mean I do good grades wise but I won't lie I'm a terrible student with a bad mouth honestly wasn't raised any better. Its just I have times where I cant control my emotions or my anger and I tend to lash out.

At school in second period class
I look around the class for that boy, I didn't like him I just thought it he'd cool to be friends with I won't like he's pretty good looking but I think he'd be better as a best friend. About ten minutes later he shows up I had to stop for a second to realize it was him. He looked better than yesterday but I couldn't point out what changed. He takes a seat next to me and for some unknown reason I get this nervous feeling in my gut I shake it off and focused on class work. I saw his hand move over to me as if he was signaling something to me. I see a note on my desk it was obvious it was from him, I pull the note under my desk and open it. I started to read the note
"Hey my names Bruno, you wanna have some fun after school?" It had a box to mark off yes or no. I giggled at the fact that it reminded me of elementary school when my friends and I would pass notes. I actually found this gesture cute. I checked off yes and wrote down my number on the paper. I handed it back to him, I could hear him giggle from next to me. He's super cute and has an adorable smile.
