A/n-

Charlotte's POV

"Okay, one more time, slower," Gabby said as I was sitting in her room, gushing about what had happened. "Chase is a what?"

"Chase is half ghost," I explained again.

"And James?"

"Full on ghost."

Gabby stared at the floor in silence before looking up at me and smirking. "So I was right and ghosts do exist?"

I sighed and flopped backwards. "You're impossible."

"Oh I know I am," Gabby agreed. "But ghosts are possible."

"Gabby!"

"What?"

Chase's POV

"James, you better be inside," I remarked as I walked to my room.

"I'm inside!" James sighed exasperatedly. "Now spill! What happened? Did you forgive her? I think she seemed legit about being sorry. I swear, if you two are still arguing-"

"Are you done?" I interupted.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?"

"I didn't forgive her."

"WHAT!!! What is wrong with you!!!" James shouted, throwing his hands into the air.

"Yep. She's coming back tomorrow at three to apologize again," I informed James, grinning widely.

James relaxed and smiled back. "That was actually pretty smart. But she does know that you actually forgive her right?"

"What do you think?"

"I don't know, you can be pretty stupid..."

"Gee, thanks James."

"No problem, although I didn't mean it as a compliment."

One Year Later

                                                                                    ...

Chase's POV

I can't believe my dad was actually letting me out of the house to go to the movies with Charlotte. Actually, I could believe it. He absolutely adored Charlotte. I mean, seriously, we weren't even eighteen yet and he was asking when we were getting married.

"Hey Chase!"

I spun around. "James! Stop sneaking up on me!"

He shrugged. "Oops. Why are you standing by the door. Waiting for something...or should I say someone?"

I blushed. "Shut up James."

"Aw, you are! You know, you could go and meet her," James teased. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind."

"Whatever," I mumbled. Just then there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it!"

I reached for the door, and sure enough, Charlotte was standing there smiling. But she was wearing a light grey cloak and a black dress. She was also wearing a long white wig, black makeup around her eyes, and black lipstick.

"Um, nice outfit?" I said uncertainly. "I thought we were going to the movies."

"Come on Chase," Charlotte begged. "It's Halloween! Besides, I got you a costume too!"

"Oh this is gonna be good," James whispered. I shot him a glare and looked at the costume Charlotte had given me. That's when I understood why she was smiling.

Charlotte's POV

I started laughing as Chase looked at the costume I had given him. It was actually Gabby's idea, but it was too tempting not to do. I laugh harder as Chase put the sheet on and moved it so he could see out of the holes I had cut for his eyes.

He was a ghost. And so was I.

"Alright come on," he said, grabbing my hand and closing the door behind him. "We can go trick or treating after we go to the movie that I already bought tickets for."

"Fine," I agreed, pretending to pout. "But you have to wear your costume the whole time!"

Chase sighed, but didn't argue. I smiled as I took out my phone and snapped a quick picture of him in his costume.

"Hey!" Chase cried, holding his hands in front of his face. "Turn off the flash! It's too bright."

I laughed.

Chase's POV

I chuckled as Charlotte jumped again. Yes, I had taken her to a horror movie. Although, to be fair, this one wasn't even that scary. Plus, I was sitting here watching the movie in a sheet. So mwah haha!

After the movie, Charlotte punched me in the arm. "Jerk."

"Okay, I deserved that, but it wasn't that scary!" I argued. "Besides, I'm about to go Trick or Treating in a sheet."

"Yep," Charlotte confirmed. She then proceeded to take my hand and pull me along.

                                                                                    ...

We spent the rest of the night running around the neighborhood getting candy. By the time I got home, I could barely feel my feet.

I'd never tell Charlotte, but I couldn't wait for next year.

A/n-I'm pretty sure this is the last chapter. But again, if you guys want more, just let me know. I'll see what I can do.
