ON THE RUN (SWEET PEA X READER)

''where do  you think your going?'' a teacher called as i walked past my classroom ''uhhh the bathroom...'' i say turning around slowly '' i dont think so, get in there'' he said watching me as i didn't move my feet firmly placed on the ground i just stared at him not knowing what to do but out of fear of being stared out  i sighed in defeat walking into the cold classroom as i was pushed in by my own self doubt making me trip on my self esteem  as soon as i walked into the door and sadly crushing my pride as all the other kids laughed and giggled  ''uh yes ophelia nice to see you made it be careful thin air is deadly these days'' the teacher said tipping down his glasses looking at me with emotionless expression a simple  ''fuck you'' slid off my tongue when i sat down ''excuse me'' the teacher  grimaced "your excused'' i cough as everyone laughed at my comeback he just scoffed and continued to draw on the white bored while i  slept, the rest of the day went the same way the teachers were tracking me down making sure i go to every class and me just sleeping or making fun of them, at lunch how ever i sat alone my stomach practically making mating calls i gave my lunch to popcorn so i guess ill just take something from work i get forced out of my thoughts when i feel something wrap around my neck shock pulses though my veins as im forcefully pulled up out of my seat chocking i attempt to unwrap the thick rope but to no avail i heave for air only for the  sides of my eyes to go blurry the last thing i saw was a serpent patch and some spiky leather jackets before hitting the ground knocking me out cold

TIME SKIP

i opened my eyes but as soon as i did i regretted it my head was pounding and when i went to touch it my bones ached fighting the pain i started looking around i only got a glimpse of where i was before popcorn ran and jumped on me i groaned  as my head hit the hard uncomfortable couch joaquin quickly pulled popcorn off me asking if i was okay i nodded my head coughing up a bit of blood ''what happened?'' i question ''it was the ghoulies'' toni said walking up behind joaquin but as soon as she said ghoulies sweet pea punched a hole in the wall causing  every one to look at him in complete silence beside the heavy rock music playing in the back round ''WE SHOULD BAN THAT FUCKING NAME FROM THE WYHTE WYRM'' he shouts as he starts punching the wall again it looked as if he had been into another fight but when i started looking around  it looked like they all did ''hey why are you guys so fucked  up?'' i ask ''well from what i heard the ghoulies wrapped a rope around your neck and then forcefully tried to kidnap you but then sweet pea saw it and then thew a chair at one of them causing a all out riot in the school cafeteria and now every southside serpent and ghoulie and suspended for a week....the ghoulies are actually suspended for 2 but you catch my drift'' popcorn said calmly everyone stared at him in amazement ''aw man so i basically missed out on the best food fight imaginable?'' toni and popcorn snickered while everyone else seemed shocked either by the fact that im so calm or nobody told popcorn what happened which just made me crack up laughing ''its amazing what teenagers scream out loud and then get so cut up about when somebody hears them'' he says calmly sipping his slushie ''naww thanks guys that so nice of you i appreciate it ill pay ya back'' i say hugging pops joaquin and toni  but from the corner of my eye i saw  joaquin wink at sweet pea as he also came into the group hug ''hey no need no serpent left behind remember?'' he said holding mostly me in his arms but still somewhat being apart of the group hug ''well in that case i need a place to stay'' i chuckle quietly ''oh uhh look at the time'' sweet pea says as he runs out the door ''oh look at that'' toni continues pretend to walk over to something ''bye'' joaquin walks away i sit down as everyone leaves  trying to think of what to do slowly ending up falling asleep on the couch 

SWEET PEA PREV

i was talking to joaquin about the fight  when i saw ophelia fast asleep on the couch ''why dont you just tell her you like her'' joaquin said catching me off guard ''because..'' i say still staring  at her sleeping form ''whats the worse that could happen'' he pressed on ''she could hear me'' i say walking over to her placing a blanket over her turning off the music nobody really noticed as peoples voices were louder then the music anyways ''hey popcorn have you had something to eat?'' i asked going up to him ''i have but i dont think shes eating as much as she should be'' he said looking over at ophelia ''what do you mean?!?" i ask concerned ''no no its not a eating disorder its just...she doesnt eat cause she wants me to, we didnt have much food today so she gave me her lunch  and she couldn't go to her shift tonight so i dont know'' popcorn says curling up to sleep next to her i sighed out loud thinking of how i could help finally coming to a conclusion  i went to FP's trailer to ask for fred andrews number

THE NEXT DAY (ophelia prev)

i walk past cherly a small smile on my face she instantly stopped and grabbed my arm as soon as i passed her ''come with me'' she said pulling me into a abandon classroom i sit down predicting what was about to happen ''question .1 whats happened to you eye?''she said concerned but little sympathy ''oh uhh just some rival gang... happens all the time'' i pass off not even knowing i had a black eye she sighed ''question .2 where were you last night?'' she said pacing the room in a deadly manner ''what do you mean your dad kicked me out said a new family member was moving in and taking my room so me and popcorn were forced to leave'' i say raising a eyebrow cherly obviously had no idea ''of course they did..'' she cursed under her breath  ''question .3 what did you mean by 'i know what your going though iv also had a murder of a loved one, a brother'?'' she said slamming her palms on the desk leaning in slowly with every word ''well the first thing i want you to know is i wasint lying to you...me and pop did have a brother his name...his name was chic he was our older brother he umm..(!!!!TRIGGERRRRR WARNING!!!)...he  killed himself when me and pop ran away i guess he needed us as much as we needed him'' i held my breath when cherly hugged me scared if there was a knife in her hand or if she had a sinister reason to be holding me like this ''im sorry'' she said crying into my shoulder with out knowing tears formed into my eyes aswell my thoughts went dark as my bottle broke

the bottle, you know the bottle the one you put all your heart breaks your tears your anger, loneliness them late night thoughts yea that bottle ophelias didnt overflow no she didnt just tip some out it broke, it shattered completely she was never the same because  when you find someone whos gone thought the exact same pain as you...the loss of not just a love one but your protector your shield your world goes into different colors people say its just black and white...no its never seen before colors its new things normal people cant see but as you begin to get a new bottle...you'll get a new addiction you'll  lose a new hope  and maybe yourself too it your lucky
