The Freaking Story of my Life

A Confusing Journey

I opened the front door to find my mother laying down doing nothing. I guess she got off work early. I walk into the house to be trampled by my animals. I own two large huskies and one lazy feline. Bella the Oldest Jumps up on me. she gets so close to my face that I can see her blue crystal-like eyes, meanwhile, her younger brother River sniffs the smells from my shoes. when they finally calm down I put my bag in the cubby and race to my room. I grab anything I think I'll need for tonight; textbook, notes, laptop, And head for the bus to head to Liam's place.

The bus I take to get there is the 144 I don't remember where exactly it heads too because I've never found that important. I get on the bus and sit at the back, the smell of carbon monoxide from the vent fills the air that surrounds me. I pass by trees and buildings though they all seem dingy from the view I have. Maybe it's just the window. 

I get to Liam's house, open the door to be greeted by his mother, Mia. Mia is such a kind woman she says hi and goes back to her laptop. I run up the stairs that creek at every step to Liam's room. He lays on his bed, bored staring at the ceiling. 

"Hola." he mutters.

I say hi back. I open my bag and grab all my homework and we begin to study.

"What is the meaning of chemistry?" 

I don't know! I screech. I wanted to cry. 

"the identification of the substances of which matter is composed; the investigation of their properties and the ways in which they interact, combine, and change; and the use of these processes to form new substances." He says proudly.

I write that down. Suddenly his sister comes in screaming

"Where's my..? Oh, hi Abby!" 

She seemed surprised to see me. Its been so long since we've spoken. She glares at me and smiles. Her sun-kissed skin shining in the artificial light, I can't believe what I'm feeling right now.

"Could I talk to you for a moment?" she whispers in my ear.

Sure I whisper back and follow her to the bathroom.
