Tyler knew one thing and one thing only about girls:
They were scary.
Especially ones who stared at him daily with some weird look in her eyes. And his friend, Brendon, was less than helpful
since all he did was wink and make noises that sent him to the Principal's office. Suspensions were kind of Brendon's thing.
But today there was no Brendon.
Just the girl and Tyler.
In the library.
Alone.
The girl never bothered him. She just stared at him like he was the last piece of Gramma Joseph's cake. Tyler decided to take his mind off her by checking his phone. But that was a horrible decision.
Brendon had sent him a picture.
Not just any picture.
A TACO picture.
"I thought we were friends," Tyler muttered under his breath as a video was sent of Brendon eating the Taco. "Don't talk to
yourself," the girl yelled across the room. Tyler felt heat rise to his cheeks before yelling out a simple "Okay" in reply. The girl pulled out a-surprise surprise-a piece of actual cake from under the table and a fork from out her sock and started eating the chocolate piece of cake lined with blue icing like this was a thing people do in the library at five in the afternoon. Tyler decided that this was not his problem and decided to go back to wishing that he was at El Taco Bello with Brendon. At least with Brendon Tyler finessed his way to not paying for anything. He was so caught up with his El Loco Taco dreams that he hasn't even realized that he had stabbed his pen into the page like a tiny harpoon. "Curse these cheap papers and
your cheaper Governments!" Tyler roared. The paper wasn't important-it wasn't even his-but that is what finals do to you, kids."CaN yOu NoT?!" The girl asked even louder. It was at that moment a frockon thunderclap of a person waltzed in with a bag of tacos and exclaimed "WAZZUP MY LA DEVOTEES?!" Brendon Urie himself asked. "Brendon for the last time I am from Ohio," Tyler said as he grabbed his bookbag. "Hey Tyler," Sarah waved. Tyler waved back. "I'm breaking up with you by the way," Tyler muttered as he snatched the bag out of Brendon's hands. "Dang bro not on an Solar Eclipse. Be more cliché. Like, break up with me via text or something," Brendon whisper-shouted. Sarah pushed a strand of black hair behind her ear and cleared her throat. "I have to be home in like, thirty minutes," She said sheepishly. Brendon guffawed like a demon and rubbed his hands together. "Joy ride...?" Tyler asked. "JoY rIdE!" Brendon squealed like a little kid stuck in a tree. Sarah looked at Tyler like she was used to this by now and Tyler had no doubt that she wasn't and all together they put their hands in a circle and one out of three teens said "JOY RIDE" with actual joy.
