Once I pulled away from Max she laid her head on my chest.

The door opened and the main doctor came in.

He looked at Max and smiled as he held up the release paper work. Max smiled a little as she sat up.

I smiled wide as I slid Max off my lap. She sat at the edge of the bed as a nurse came in, I went over and held her other arm and held her head against me. The nurse took the blood drip out Max let out a huge breath as the needle came out.

I kissed her head and got up and signed the forms.

I helped Max stand up. She was unsteady on her feet and seemed a little light headed.

She let go of the bed and started to fall. I grabbed her waist and held her up.

"I can do it, give me a second" I shook my head and scooped her up. I held her on my hip and we walked through the halls.

Max got shy and hid her face in my neck.

I smiled and rubbed her back. As I walked down the hall some people stared at us and gave disgusted looks. I Ignored them, as we got to the main lobby the nurse smiled and handed me Max's medication. I smiled and thanked her as I walked out.

I rubbed Max's back as we got outside. She let out a whine as the sun got in her eyes.

"Its okay baby, I'll get in the shade while we wait." Max nodded and sighed as I walked into the shade. I took out my phone and called Lauren and asked if she was able to pick us up. I was lucky that her and Camila both had the day off.

It only took ten minutes for Lauren and Camila to get to us. When they arrived Max perked up a little and let out a very silent squeak.

I smiled and walked over to the car. I placed Max in and got in beside her.

"Hi Demi, Hello Max" Max smiled a little and leaned against my arm.

We drove home and thanked Lauren and Camila. Max hugged Camila and slowly went and hugged Lauren.

"baby you don't have to be scared of her" Max turned toward me and nodded with tears in her eyes.

I ran over to Max just as she broke down, I looked at Lauren and shrugged. "I think shes scared that I'm mad at her. She knows that I care about you, she doesn't want me mad at her" I nodded at Lauren and picked Max up.

"Is that the reason babygirl?" Max nodded and held out her arms towards Lauren, Lauren got out and held Max for a few seconds.

"I'm so-sorry" Lauren nodded and rubbed her back.

I gave a weak smile to Lauren as she Handed me back Max. I thanked her and Camila again and brought Max inside.

I placed Max on the couch and laid her down.

"I'll be right back baby, stay here for me okay?" Max nodded and took the paci out of her shirt. She popped it right back in her mouth.

I smiled as I ran up stairs and grabbed her some clothes.

I grabbed her a shirt that said 'hug life', a pair of galaxy sweatpants and some socks with sloths on them. I speed walked down stairs and saw Max on the couch with her feet in the air. She was flailing her feet around and lightly kicking her hands.

I chuckled and walked over to her. I put the clothes on the back of the couch and sat in front of Max. She put her feet down but she had her knees slightly bent, I smiled as I started to get her undressed.

She sat up and took her shirt off and laid back down. I grinned as she sat back up and wrapped her arms around me. I held onto her and lightly scratched her back, the simple scratching made her very calm.

"come on baby, shirt on, pants on and socks on then we can cuddle." Max nodded and pulled away and held up her arms. I pulled the shirt over her head. Max laid back down and lifted her butt so I could get her pants from before off.

Once I got those off I pulled the sweatpants onto her legs and pulled them up.

Max sat up and put her socks on by herself.

I chuckled as she laid back down and held her arms out for me.

I leaned down and kissed her forehead. Max wrapped her arms and legs around me and rocked from side to side.

She let out little giggles every time I kissed her.

"somebody is very little right now aren't they?" Max made a serious face and shook her head.

I raised my eyebrows and made a surprised face, "oh, if that's the case then no cuddles.", I went to sit up but Max quickly shook her head and buried her face in my neck.

I laughed and sat up and held Max against me.

We sat in silence for a few minutes before Max spoke.

"I'm sorry for hurting myself. Also sorry that you had to witness it. I should of told you but I thought you wouldn't understand" I let a heavy sigh and held her against me even more.

I lifted her chin and kissed her slowly. When we pulled away I sighed.

"You don't have to be sorry for anything. And I'll admit this to you because I think its best for you to know." Max looked at me confused and sat up.

I looked down at her and saw that I had every bit of her attention.

"I know it seemed like I wasn't gonna understand but the thing is I completely understand. The whole self harm thing is hard to some times touch upon and its understandable.", Max sat up and grabbed a hold of both my hands, she held my hands against her chest and stared into my eyes.

"I understand the feeling you got from hurting yourself, kind of like a release. I know the feeling because at one point I was harming myself. Hell I was doing more than self mutilation." Max looked so shocked at what I was saying.

"y-you?" I nodded my head and kissed her forehead.

"I ended up doing drugs and drinking. I also had a run with forcing myself to throw up. But I ended up going into to treatment to get help. Now I'm here." Max couldn't form words.

She seemed so lost.

Max looked at her lap but averted her attention to my wrists. I pointed to some very faint scars on my wrist. Max ran her finger over them and stayed silent.

She stared at my wrist for what seemed like an eternity.

"Babygi-" I was cut off as Max lunged forward and wrapped her arms around my neck.

She let out a sob as I held her.

"I got you baby" Max shook as I held her.

I held Max and calmed her down. She was at the point where she was just whimpering.

"Please n-never leave me and please never hurt yourself again" I pulled her feet towards her body and grabbed the blanket on the side of the couch.

I laid down and put the blanket on us.

"I'm never going to leave you babygirl, You're my forever. And I'm never gonna hurt myself again. I promise."
