"Hello~" the bright and vibrant voice of Vernon's favored friend Joshua sang as he made his way into the castle, hands filled with sugary chocolate sweets.
"Hello my dear friends," Vernon smiled welcoming his castle to his group of friends, all holding their own share of sugary treats in their hands.
"Hi hi Vernonie," Chan giggled running into his old masters arms.
Seokmin bowed politely as he made his way to Joshua's side, taking the basket of treats from his masters filled hands.
"How have you been?" Joshua asked the overly sensitive question, with a joyful tone, as to not make things awkward or hard to talk about.
Joshua believed he knew best about Vernon's situation, having lost his own parents at a young age too, the type of pain the two kings shared were supposed to be very similar.
Though in Vernon's case, their situations were completely different, along with their feelings towards their parents passing and actions after.
"I've been good," Vernon smiled, holding his hand out, as to direct them down the hallway.
"We should of arranged something fun to do today," Jeonghan frowned, as he looked around the halls, that never seemed more empty.
"Yeah I was actually planning for us to attend the sword fighting tournament today, but I was caught up with something so I didn't end up purchasing tickets," Vernon smiled to himself as the ten boys made their way into the living room area.
They sat at the long rectangular table at the side of the room. All the boys placed their treats on top, warming smiles plastered on their faces.
"Wow you've really switched this place around since the last time we've been here," Mingyu said, his eyes scanning around the large space, examining the many mysterious paintings of different parts of a pale male body.
"Yeah, I like it," Seungcheol said walking over to one of the painting of a boy facing backwards, the paleness of his back displayed along with just a touch of pink color for the hair, "These pictures are interesting too."
"Who are they?" Jihoon asked, squinting his eyes, noticing that all the painting were similar and followed the same body type. Small and pale, also where ever there was hair, it was a lemonade pink color.
Vernon smile as he got up, pushing his chair back, "Actually, this is the reason why I asked you all to come here."
All the boys looked at each other, then back at Vernon confused.
"You see," Vernon walked over to the picture Seungcheol was standing next to, his finger pointed at the pink from the hair at the back of the painted boys head, "These paintings are very important to me."
They all nodded in sync, to show Vernon that they were following.
"Because they are paintings of something important to me," Vernon explained as he glanced up at the picture, "they are pictures of my current lover."
All the boys looked at each other, and all together they realized who Vernon was speaking about.
"Seungkwan!" Soonyoung said, remembering the strange fella and how secretive Vernon was about him at first.
"Correct," Vernon clapped happily as he walked back to the table.
He reached down and grabbed one of the wine glasses spread out around the table, then held it up, "Seungkwan is the person in those pictures, he is my queen, my everything, and so I would like to announce..."
"That I will be marry him," Vernon smiled proudly, "and I want all of your blessings."
All his friends gasped at the sudden confession, they were all so shocked.
