Lebanon, KS- Earth 33

I once again find myself in cool water. I look around but can barely see anything in the murky water. I swim to the surface and look around.

"Great, I'm in the middle of nowhere," I say to myself as I take sigh. I trudge to the nearby bank and sit down. I pull the book bag off my shoulders and open it to see my uniform, my sword is in it's sheathe. I sigh in relief, swing the bag back on my shoulders, and stand up. Where to know? Well I guess I should probably find out where I am first.

I look around but it is hard to see in the darkness. I sigh and start to blindly walk in one direction.

I keep blindly stumbling around until I come across an old abandoned factory. I tried to find a way in but that was nearly impossible  in the dark. I was about to give up when I see a metal door in a hill. It has concrete stairs along with a railing.

I cautiously walked over down the stairs and to the door

I cautiously walked over down the stairs and to the door. I grabbed the metal latch and tried to open it. Locked. I back up then run at the door slamming my shoulder into it. It doesn't give at first but after the third time the door swings open. I rub my sore shoulder and walk in. There is a railing that goes all the way around the room below and a metal staircase. At the bottom of the stairs there is a table with multiple seats.

I carefully walk down the stairs then into what I would say is the kitchen

I carefully walk down the stairs then into what I would say is the kitchen. I look around and end up looking in the fridge. There is nothing but beer, half eaten pie, leftover hamburgers, and more beer. I decide on the burger and put is in the microwave.

After I eat my burger I decide to look around.

"This place is huge," I whisper to myself as I get lost for the second time. I end up in a giant library but all the books are about supernatural creatures. If I had to guess I'd say monsters are real in this world. "Great," I sigh, "now I have to deal with monsters."

The sound of a door opening can be heard throughout the room. I quickly duck down and put a hand on my sword.

"The lock is broken," says a masculine voice.

"Do you think someone was here," asks another voice.

"Yeah, but they could still be here," says the first voice.

I can hear the tension in his voice as the one man says, "Go."

I can hear footsteps and doors not so silently opening around me. I just grip my sword tighter and get ready to be found. If monsters are real how can you tell who is human and who isn't? I asked myself. I runthrough everything I read in my mind and come to a conclusion. Okay, silver, holy water, and salt are good ways to get a reaction out of monsters ... but I don't have any of those things. Shit.

The library door is opened, and my grip tightens on my sword to the point were my knuckles are white. I hear footsteps near me and I slowly unsheathe my sword. I can see the shadow of a man turning around a bookshelf, well I hope he is a man.

I inhale a deep breath the jump out from behind the bookshelf. I push the man against the wall and hold my sword to his throat. He grabs my arm and twists it then pushes me away. He aims his gun at me and I keep my sword trained on him. Each wait for the other to make a move.

For the first time I get a good look at the man. He is tall with long brown hair and green eyes. He has muscles, they aren't like a bodybuilder's but they're there. I also notice he has some blood splattered on his shirt.

I go to change my stance but he yells, "Don't move!"

I glare at him and say, "What are you?" It sounds more like a demand than a question. He looks a little shocked but he quickly hides it.

"Human. What are you?"

I lower my sword a little and reply, "Human." He too seems to relax at my answer. He opens his mouth to say something but is cut off by a shout, "Sam!" I quickly turn around to see a man with short brown hair and apple green eyes.

"Who are you," I snap at the pair. As I point my sword at the man. The first man I saw, Sam, ignores my question and asks, "How did you get in here?"
"I broke the door," I saw like it's no big deal. The two look at eachother then back at me then the other one asks, "Who are you?"

"The names Elijah Knight," I say as I lower my sword. If they wanted to kill me they would have tried by know, right? Sure let's say that. I look at the two and ask, "And you?"

The one with long hair, who I think is Sam said, "I'm Sam and that's my brother Dean." I smile in victory. I got his name right. But then I frown and seriously ask, "Are you guys monsters?"

Dean snorts and says, "No ... Are you?" I can feel his emotions. He isn't lying.

I shake my head, "No."

"Good," says Dean, "I would hate to have to kill such a pretty girl like you."

Sam elbows him and I roll my eyes. I then think about what he said, then it clicked. "Your hunters. You must by the Winchesters," they look at me strangely and I add, " I read about you guys. In here." I say gesturing to the library around us. They nod their heads then Sam asks, "What are you doing here anyway?"

I shuffle uncomfortably. I am not telling them. The only reason I told Kara was because I trusted her.

I glance at the two men.

I trust them about as much as I trust Jack Sparrow, which is not a lot ... Time to get creative.

"Well you see ..."

------I'm skipping the long fake explanation------

Dean, Sam, and I all sit on the couch in silence. Wow, that was a terrible excuse. How does someone get lost in the woods, end up soaking wet, and break thru a very heavy metal door. There is no way anyone would believe this lie.

Sam rubs a hand down his face in exhaustion and says, "I'm going to bed. Uh, you can stay here if you want. I guess."

I stand up and say, "Thanks for the offer and all, but I really shouldn't. I uh, should probably get home."

Sam nods his head in understanding. I guess he really believed my story after all. "I could give you a ride home," suggests Dean.

I shake my head no, "I can manage on my own, thanks." And I subconsciously pat my sword.

Dean nods and I grab my stolen bookbag. "Why do you have a sword anyway," asks Dean as I sling the bag on my shoulder.

I huff and walk up the stairs whispering, "Wouldn't you like to know."

I can hear the two brothers yelling for me but I ignore ther calls.

The heavy bunker door slams shut as I walk out with a sigh. "Where to next," I ask myself as I take off into the air.
