Our Bitten Curse

Hello wonderful readers!! Kiana and Megan here :) so, we started this story when we were about twelve.. so the names might not be all that great. The later chapters are newer, so they are better. The story plot is mostly the same however!

Chapter 1:

Hello, my name is Jamie Perkins. I was once an ordinary girl, until the attack... It all started one sunny afternoon, at the park. Chloe, who is my best friend, and I, were just walking around talking about Ben Zimmerman's party. Now, you are probably wondering 'who is Ben Zimmerman?'

Well, Ben is the hottest guy in the entire school. He is also a superstar basketball player, and just last week, won the championship for our school.

"Hey Chloe, Did you hear that Ben is throwing a massive party tomorrow night?"

"Yeah! Did you get an invitation?" She asked me.

"No," I sighed. "Did you?"

"Nope."

Just then, her phone started to buzz. She looked at her phone. It was a text message, from Ben. "Jamie, I just got a text message from Ben!" Screeched Chloe.

"What does it say?" I asked her.

"I don't know, I didn't look at it yet."

"Well look at it!" I shouted excitedly.

"Okay, okay." She started reading the text message, and a smile that wasn't there before spread across her face. "Oh my gosh, that was an invitation for tomorrow night. I'm invited!"

I was happy happy for Chloe, but I was sad I hadn't got an invitation. We talk, I thought he at least considered me a friend. Apparently not.

At that moment, my cellphone vibrated. I figured to see my mom's name pop up, but instead, it was Ben's.

"Ben just sent me an invitation, I'm invited too!"

I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm not a girly-girl at all! But when it comes to Ben, I start to blush. I get all nervous around him and I can't help but smile.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Chloe said full of excitement.

"Loads of fun."

I was excited, believe me. I was extremely excited!  But the feeling in the pit of my stomach told me something wasn't right. I didn't know what it was, but I didn't have a good feeling about this. Chloe rambled on and on about how much fun the party was going to be, but I wasn't paying her any attention. This doesn't feel right. I thought to myself.

I decided that it was best to just push those feelings aside. After all, this is the hottest party of the year. And to be invited to something this popular? If we don't go we would never be invited to anything ever again. This is no exaggeration.

"Are you alright?" Chloe asked me, bringing me out of my train of thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine Chloe." I lied.

Yes, I felt bad for lying to Chloe. She was my best friend! But if she knew I was worried she would worry. I don't want to ruin her fun. Or for us and our newly found popularity.

"Okay, so the invitation says that its tonight, at 11:00 pm-"

"We can't go." I told her, cutting her off.

"What, why not?" She pouted.

"Chloe, its at eleven O'Clock at night. Our parents will never allow us to go! Especially because its a big party, with boys."

She laughed. "Oh Jamie, you are so lucky to have me as your best friend."

I was hesitant. "....why?"

"Because, you always follow the rules. We don't do a lot of things because the rules of our parents or teachers or law enforcement hold us back. Well, tonight we are going to that party. We are breaking some rules and we are GOING to have a night to remember."

She left no room for argument. I sighed, and agreed to go.

"Alright, so here's the plan. Its," She took a look at her watch. "2:03 right now. First, were going to walk the ten minutes to the mall. You have money with you, right?"

I rolled my eyes at her, but nodded. I just got my first job helping my mom's friend at her farm, and I have it all with me. I was pretty pleased with my paycheck this first month.

"Alright, good. So we'll go to the mall, buy some 'not too fancy' clothes. Makeup, and whatever else we need. Then, we will go to my mom, tell her I'm spending the night at your house, and go to your house. Then, when your parents fall asleep, sneak out and walk to the party. Simple."

"But the walk is twenty minutes from my house! And its in the dark! We wouldn't even leave until around one in the morning."

Chloe rolled her eyes, and shoved off my hesitance.

Needless to say, we we ended up going..
