The voice that had made its way to Killian's ears made his stomach drop within itself. Killian thought of who else it could be because he didn't want to make contact with the owner of the voice. After coming up clean, Killian turned around and made eye contact with the man who ruined his childhood.

"Hello, dad," Killian spoke to his father. "What are you doing here? You are supposed to still be in prison."

"Well, son, I just had the urge to see you and your brother. Neither of you had come to see me in the past 10 years. I wanted to see how you turned out," The boy's father replied as he pulled out a chair and sat with them. "Now, who are these lovely ladies? Jay, are they yours? I know that you always had a girl, but Killy? Nah, he was too much of a sissy."

"We are done here," Killian said as he stood up, Jay and the girls following suit as they walked out the door.

"You can't escape me, boys, ill find you and you will remember just what it was like when you lived with me."

"Was that him? That was Johnny?" Avalon asked of Killian as she held his hand. The sun was just setting in the sky, and it would have been noticed if it weren't for Johnny showing up.

"Yea," Killian replied while reminiscing about his childhood.

**FLASHBACK**

"Jay, we are going to be late to school unless you decide that girls and booze are not more important than your education." 16-year-old Killian said as he slung his backpack over his shoulder and finished off his black roast coffee.

"Brother, who really cares about education when you have a successful older brother who is going to take care of you and all 15 of your wives? Honestly, education is overrated now." Jay replied from his room.

"I won't help you then when one day you are poor and crap!" Killian replied as he threw the coffee cup on the ground causing it to shatter.  Little Killian, well, teenage Killian had inherited his temper from his drunk and sociopathic father.

"Killian, remember? I won't need your help with that because by then, ill be a pro basketball player. I'll be the one helping your sorry ass." Jay replied and a slamming door could be heard from Jay's room.

Killian sighed as he stalked to his father's room. "Hey dad, I'm on my way to school. I'll talk to you later."

"I hope I don't see you later you sorry excuse of a son! You're the reason your mother died, you hear me?" Johnny said as he swung open the door and attempted to hit Killian with a beer bottle.

Killian sprinted out the door and into his pickup, where he sped off to school, not wanting to be in that house another minute.

**END OF FLASHBACK**

Killian snapped out of his thoughts when he felt arms wrap around his body, and a kiss was delivered to his lips. Sighing, he hugged Avalon back.

"What are we going to do no-" Jay started to stay when Avalon and Paisley both replied "Mini golf!" While giving each other a look.

Killian chuckled before making his way to his pickup and starting it up. The drive to Linda Lane Mini Golf was short, and the group all sang along to various songs and laughed to their heart's content. Once they arrived, Killian hopped out of the pickup and went around and opened the door for Avalon while Jay did the same for Paisley. Killian walked up to the counter and waited for a worker to appear.

"Hi, welcome to Linda Lane Mini Golf, where we are the second happiest place on earth. How can I help you today?" A Teenager said monotone like as she appeared from beneath the counter.

"Hey, 4 for mini golf, and 4 for go-carts," Killian replied as he fished in his pocket for his billfold.

"32.99 is going to be your total today, sir." the teen said as she took the 40 from Killian.

After gathering the change from the teen, Killian and the gang decided to head to, wait, this isn't  Scooby Doo. Killian and the other headed to the mini-golf course where they had to choose from a logging level or a fairy tale level.

"I vote princess level," Jay said immediately as he headed towards it.

"No, I vote logging!" Paisley said as she headed towards it.

As Jay and Paisley bicker, Killian and Avalon look at each other and nod, while heading towards the logging level.

"Seriously guys? I have to put up with beardy redheaded hunks?" Jay whined.

"Don't stereotype, brother and stop acting 6 years old," Killian replied before heading towards the logging level.

At this time, Jay decided to hold back on saying something along the lines of 'yeah, 6 inches in your mom.' and sucked it up as he followed everyone to hole 1.

The game was enjoyed by everyone but Jay, who had absolutely failed at mini golf. Killian was happily gloating to Jay, and the girls just laughed along. Go-Karts were about how you would expect them. Avalon won, Killian in second, Paisley in 3rd and an, even more, raged Jay was in the last place.

Killian son dropped everyone off at home except for Jay, whose car was at Killian's house.

Killian and Jay sat in silence on the way to Killian's house, until Killian reached over to the radio and turned it on, and Ocean Eyes by Billie Ellish was just starting.

"You really know how to make me cry when you give me those ocean eyes."

By the time the song ends, Killian was pulling into his driveway, and hopping out of his car, Jay following suit.

"See ya later brotha," Jay told Killian as he gave him a hug. "I'll talk to you later."

"See you later Jay," Killian replied before he retreated into his home, and heading straight to bed because of the long day he had.
