Splendid wanted to know everything, so he could help the veteran and the town. He just asked some quick questions.
"So is this guy an alter of yours? And is he's name really... Fliqpy was it? Does he enjoy killing? Do you think we can find him a distraction to keep him inside the whole time? Do we actually stand a chance against him?" Splendid asked quickly, trying to certainly rush things.
"Ok. Don't use the term 'us'. As long as he is in control, is like I don't even exist. I can't stand against him, but you probably can. You're a superhero after all and stopped him last time. Now he indeed is an alter and he's name really is Fliqpy. And yes. He kills for a living. As long as nothing reminds us of war, he won't come out." Explained Flippy trying not to miss a question.
"Well then I'll take care of him. Here." Splendid handed over a piece of paper with some numbers on it. His phone number. "Try calling or something when you feel like he'll take over, ok?"
"I can only promise that I'll try. He takes control way too quickly for me to notice first." Flippy responded.
"It's ok. By the way. I don't want you to think of me as a therapist. That's not my job. I want us to be friends." Splendid said with a big smile on his face. He doesn't know why, but that smile made Flippy's heart warm. He felt safe.
He nodded and stood up looking for his jacket. He took it from the hanger and turned around facing Splendid. "Thank you for the help, Splendid. I'll let Fliqpy know he won'tgo far next time he takes control."
Splendid waved off and looked at Flippy as he walked out of the house. Flippy smiled thinking that maybe for the first time, Fliqpy won't hurt anyone while he is in control. His new friend will stop him. His hero.
And Fliqpy didn't fully deny what Flippy thought. Because he won't be the one hurting people from now on if his plan works. Flippy was a master in manipulation and Splendid seemed to be the right person for his plan. This time, Fliqpy was going to have his own soldier, in his stead.
