When young Tori Tellna is killed in a lab accident, her father, respected SHEILD scientist Tobias Tellna, creates an android replica of her in an attempt to have his daughter back. The android is so lifelike she looks like, speaks like, and even bites her lip like the late Tori. She is so lifelike it only makes Tobias Tellna sadder.
Tori has every reason to be upset. Forced out of the only home she's ever known mere days after the horrible truth that she had in fact died and is only some carbon copy of the girl she believes she is, she is utterly confused and terrified.
She knows little to nothing about her new body, questions bombarding her constantly. Questions such as: 1. If she has the memory and personality of Tori Tellna, isn't she technically still Tori Tellna, no matter the body? 2. Did her father give her any special powers or something? (Cause Tori knows her father wouldn't pass up an opportunity to do that.) 3. Is she even water resistant?? Will she just shut down next time she takes a bath? And much, much more.
Good thing she has a nerdy stepbrother, stepbrother's slightly-less-nerdy best friend, and a masked vigilante by the name of Spiderman who are more than willing to help her find the answers.
Unfortunately, they will be of no help when it comes to being normal again.
