I rushed back towards the door and hastily knocked on it, impatiently waiting for Loki to open the door. Wanda stood a few feet behind me and looked over my shoulder, also waiting for an answering. A few moments passed before Wanda placed her hand on my shoulder.

“Are you sure it's him?” she inquired.

I stood in place, still facing the door as I nodded my head. She took her hand off my shoulder and moved me to the side as she used her powers to swing the door open. It slammed against the wall on the inside of the apartment and made a loud bang as we glared into the room. Nothing seemed out of place except for the fact that Loki nor the man was nowhere in sight. We walked into the apartment and our eyes fell upon a closed bedroom door. We shared a glance before we ran towards the door and Wanda, once again, throw the door off of its hinges. We hesitantly stepped into the room before we noticed a dark shadow near a window. I peered towards what was causing the shadow and saw Loki, in his full Asgardian armour, daggers in hand. He stood in a fighting stance and his eyes were full of anger and hurt.

“Stay back,” he warned.

“Loki,” I said softly, trying to make him realize what he was doing.

“Don’t.” he shook his head. “I told you to stay away.”

Wanda moved in front of me to block me from him before I placed her to the side and walked back in front of her. She gave me a worried glance but I returned a small nod to let her know that I had a plan. I was going to try and talk some sense into Loki and help him realize what he's doing and try and get him to come back to the tower with us. I knew the chances of that actually happening were slim to none but I had to try.

I took a small step towards Loki with my hands raised up by my sides. He seemed to notice and I could see his expression change slightly. He seemed less angry and more regretful and confused than anything.

“Loki, please. Just talk to me.”

He closed his eyes roughly for a moment before returning to his dark expression.

“There's no need for talking. You're going to let me go or i'll-” Loki began to say before I interrupted him.

“You’ll what?” I dropped my hands as I moved closer to him, still leaving many feet between us. “You'll kill me? Just like what you said you were afraid of doing.” I retaliated as tears began to prick at my eyes.

He hadn't moved from his spot where he stood, still holding his daggers in a threatening position. Nothing about him had changed from when we first entered the room except his expression. He seemed rageful when we first noticed him but he seemed scared and conflicted at this moment.

Loki opened his mouth as if he was about to say something but shut it quickly after, leaving me with no reply.

“Aren't you tired of the same old part you play?” I questioned as the tears stuck in my eyes began to force their way out and down my cheek. “How do you expect people to stop seeing you as a villain if you constantly do things like this.”

My words seemed to have gotten to him as he hesitantly lowered his daggers but still held his threatening stance. His face fell towards the ground before he raised it back up and met my gaze. His eyes were watery and he looked hurt.

“How am I supposed to stop? I am the God of mischief so I'm only following what my title explains me as.” he scoffs, visibly trying to hold back his tears.

“Just because you're the God of mischief doesn't mean you can't be a good guy too, Loki.”

He laughed at my response and his glare became darker as if he was trying to hide his true emotions.
