Veronica's POV:
My beautiful princess Payton Lynn Andrews has been in this world for 5 weeks and we couldn't be happier. This Saturday is her christening and a lotta my family is coming into town for it, I'm really nervous I haven't seen most of my family since my confirmation. It's Friday morning and all my family is coming in tonight. I come downstairs to make breakfast when I see Archie in the rocking chair with Payton.
Veronica: good morning my loves.
Archie: good morning beautiful.
I walked over to them and him a small peck on the lips then I kissed Payton on the forehead.
Veronica: now let me see my baby girl.
I picked her and swaddled in my arms, I smiled at her she's everything to me.
A few hours later my mom came over with Payton's dress. It's a little white poofy dressed with sparkles and she had a matching white flower headband to go with it.
Veronica: mom this is beautiful.
Hermione: I had your tia hand make.
Veronica: really?
Hermione: yes btw your tia Rosa will be here in about 2 hours and I was gonna bring some pops over here for all of us.
Veronica: yea that sounds good.
Hermione: great now let me see my granddaughter.
I handed Payton over to my mom.
Hermione: (to the baby) hi sweetheart.
As the day past on my tia Rosa got here, my abulea and other family members, Archie's mom got here too, everyone is at Archie's house right now everyone is meeting Payton and giving her so much love.
Abulea: Qué edad tiene ella?
Veronica: 5 seamanas de edad.
Archie just looked at my so confused.
Archie: wait what did you say?
Veronica: I told her that Payton is 5 weeks old.
Archie: oh.
Veronica: it's okay I'm gonna teach you some Spanish soon.
Archie: okay my love.
We all sat around and they told stories about when I was baby then I told them all about my pregnancy.
The next morning I woke at 9am which was the first time in a while I've slept in this late. I went downstairs and saw Mary and my mom making breakfast while Archie was sitting at the table with Payton. We all ate breakfast then I went upstairs to get me and Payton ready for this afternoon, after we were all ready to go we all took a million pictures then we headed over to the church. Everyone got seated in the pews and the ceremony was about to begin when everyone gasped in the background I turned around and saw my dad walking towards me, Archie and Payton. I gave Payton to Archie and walk over to my dad.
Veronica: get out.
Hiram: mija please.
Veronica: Get Out Of This Church!!
Hiram: I want to know my granddaughter.
Veronica: Now you to know her NOW YOU WANT TO KNOW HER!! 9 months ago when I told you about her you called her a mistake, my daughter is not a mistake my daughter is everything to me never once did I call her a mistake because she's not, SO GET OUT OF THIS CHURCH AND OUT OF MY LIFE ANS PAYTONS.
After that he walked out, I walked back over to Archie and Payton and the ceremony began and it was beautiful.
