This is all based on fictional events and characters. Just something I got inspired to write for fun. Hope you like it! No hate! But I would love constructive criticism and please be involved and comment. I will try to update as much as possible but forgive me if I'm not too active with this story. I am writing this book with my best friend Yaire! She is my official co-writer. So creds to her as well. Thanks for all who are giving this book a try!

PS: If anyone makes any book covers be sure to send them to me :)

Protagonists: Olivia Harris and Brandon West

I was cuddled in bed fast asleep, dreaming I was the protagonist in one of my romance novels. My dream began to fade, and I woke up to the feeling of something wet on my face. Oh man, had I drooled? Squinting as sunlight clouded my vision, I saw Grizzly, my German Shepard, licking my face and realized the wetness was in fact drool, just not mine. Groaning, I turned my face away from his reach and tried to go back to sleep but despite my efforts, I couldn't. Giving up on my dream, I sat up in bed and saw Grizzly impatiently staring at me. I laughed as he tilted his head. I crawled out of bed and peered through my bedroom window. I opened my window and the fresh morning breeze greeted me.

It was a fresh cloudy morning, my favorite type of weather. I washed my face and brushed my teeth, loving the way my mouth felt. A fresh, clean, tingling sensation was left from my minty toothpaste. I slipped on an old vintage t-shirt I had picked up at a third store last weekend and paired it with some vintage mom jeans and my converse. I dabbed on a light layer of mascara to enhance my big brown eyes and undid my ponytail, letting my dark brown hair fall on my back.

I darted past my dad's office and hollered, "I'm going to the park with Grizzly".

"Okay, just don't be out too long, it looks like it might rain", He responded with a tired voice.

As soon as I opened the door I could smell the fresh moisture in the air, one of my favorite smells. It was a Sunday, the day before school came back into session, after summer break.

I began my morning stroll with Grizzly. As soon as I arrived at my favorite place in the world, the park, a smile spread across my face. I headed to my favorite spot, under the giant oak tree, near a bench. I know, the park isn't the most flattering place, but it was special to me.

I put down my tote bag and book, as I held Grizzly with my other hand. A gentle breeze brushed my cheek as it made my hair sway lightly. The smell of fresh cut grass made its way to my nose, causing me to take in a nice long deep breath and smile.

As I looked to my left, a couple feet away, I spotted a chocolate Labrador. It appeared friendly, with smooth fur as if it had just been groomed.

As I glanced up, my eyes met the owner's eyes. He was tall and I immediately noticed the hazel in his eyes. He smiled at me and I noticed a dimple on his right cheek that creased in every small mouth movement. He had wavy, dark brown hair that appeared soft, giving me a sudden urge to run my hands through it, which I quickly dismissed. You just saw this kid , you need to chill.

He was wearing dark jeans, a white shirt and a brown jacket. I noticed how his jacket sort of matched his eyes. Really, Olivia? His jacket matches his eyes? Stalk much?
Embarrassed, I smiled back after realizing I had been staring too long. I shifted my gaze to the floor, not wanting to draw too much attention.

Then distracted with my thoughts, I felt a powerful tug at my hand, catching me completely off guard, Grizzly lunged forward pulling me with him. I tried planting my feet on the ground, but that was hopeless. Grizzly dashed toward the boy and his dog tripping me with his leash in the process. I squealed feeling myself crash into something and closed my eyes preparing for the fall. I hit the ground with a thud face-up, feeling a heavy weight over me. Guessing it was Grizzly, I opened my eyes and there were those hazel eyes looking into mine.
