It had started to snow in cubes and square area. So when the news warned of 2 feet tall snow cube was happy. You see it was an excuse to wear more comfortable sweaters and drink tea.
Square didn't mind snow but one thing they like about was cubes face and the fact that every now and then thier triangles would twitch in a way kinda like cat ears. While square body wasn't affected by the cold, cubes was so them putting on more layers was nothing more then just somewhere to hide from pink. Like square knew of the kit cat bar cube had thought they had hidden well buut square decided to let that one go after all cube it was one of cubes favorite chocolate bars and square had pretty good hold on everything eles that was chocolate so they gave up the kit cats to cube. Speaking of cube where were they. Square turned around only find air they looked back and found that they had walked off a cliff. But because thier was no deep water underneath it they quickly ran back onto land. Fearing the worst they decided to check out the bottom of the cliff but still no cube was there.
They started to head back until they heard something sounding like faint humming in the distance. Running right towards the sound there was cube who was making a snow person with thier claws. Humming along to the music coming out of their headphones. There they were safe and sound with out a care in the world. Square started to wonder if cube was ready to go back inside. As square was thinking about this suddenly a small snow ball made contact with thier face. Pink let out a laugh as he threw on and it hit cube as well. Cube let out a giggle at this but square wasn't so happy to see thier best friend getting headshot with a snow ball. So square using thier speed to to the max grab hand full of snow after hand full of snow and launching them at pink until there was only dirt left to throw at the pile of snow that was pink.
Square nearly broke down into tears with laughter. Until a boulder sized snowball landed on top of them. Pink who had just watch cube throw this chunk of snow was impressed but also worried because cube started to make another snow boulder. Pink tried to free himself from the snow fast enough but it was too late another snow boulder landed on him too but it was smaller then the first one. Both shapes covered in snow decided to start to dig their way out. Cube went back to building thier snowman but first they decided to eat thier kit kat sitting down on the snow chomping away at the chocolate. After finishing said snow man they decided to head home yelling that they were cold and heading back.
Pink and square dug out of the snow clusters at the same time. Cube was around 1/4 of the way home when both of them got out. Pink looked at his phone and told square he had to go home leaving our 4 eyed angry protagonist by themselves. Square bolted at full speed until they caught up to cube.
"There you are i was about to get worried"
"Did the thing that attacked me with snow hurt you too?"
"Nah it let me go after it got both you and pink"
Cube held out thier hand for square to take. Square missing some of cubes body heat gladly welcomed the hand holding. The two walked home chatting over little things.
Square although could not feel the cold their skin could. So cube wrapped them in a blanket and went off into the kitchen to go make some tea for the both of them.
If Cube thought that square would be satisfied with just a blanket when there a cube that can be cuddled right in front of them then cube was poorly mistaken. Cube came back without thier sweater wearing a T-shirt, fuzzy pants and holding two glasses of hot tea. Square liked moment like this were they could see and count most of thier friend freckles. Square holding thier tea looked over a cube and smiled. Yeah square liked snow a lot.
