Chapter 23

"Tess come on, we're going to be late!"

"Wh-- what?" I ask as my eyes fluttering open.

"We've got to go to school." I hear dave's voice becoming clearer.

"Oh right!" I say with my eyes popping open as I lightly rub them and sit up.

"You sure know how too sleep." He says laughing as he stands up from the side of my bed. He is only wearing a towel that is wrapped around his waist. My eyes widen as I take in his rock hard body.

"Tess!"

"Yes dave?" I ask with my head tilting to the side.

"Go and shower and stop looking at me."

"Oh shut up!" I say laughing as I fling the duvet cover over and run to the bathroom.

"Tess!" Ruba and Kylie call from the end of the hallway.

"Hey!" I yell back as I they come towards me.

"How are you b and you feeling better now?" She says with a little smile.

"I'm okay. It's just been crazy!" I tell them what had happened since they left my house.

"Oh my Gosh! All that happened in just a few hours, literally!" Kylie says making us laugh.

"Yeah it's crazy!"

"I told you to pick dave!" She says rolling her eyes and folding her arms.

"Yes I know."

"So you guys are together now, right?"

"No were not, at least just not yet!" I hear someone behind me and I immediately know it's dave. He grabs my waist pulling me into him.

"Dave seriously!" I say as he raises his eyebrows up like he's saying (I don't know what your talking about)

"I'm gonna get my books from my locker, see you guys around." He says with a smile and a little wave so all of us as we wave back and I feel a blush crawl on my face.

"It's weird knowing that dave is actually not the bad boy." Kylie says with a laugh.

"And Peter is like the secret badboy!"
Ruba says with her eyebrows up and nodding her head.

"Hey babe!"  I hear from behind me and I know it's Peter.

*My mum always told me the reason why guys call girls babe or bae was mostly because they had other ones. So they'd says that so they don't mistakenly call out the other girls name. I laugh at myself because whenever my mum said it I just thought it was because she didn't like Peter. *

"Hi" I say but I feel completely disgusted. "Peter can I talk to you quickly ?" I ask, I'm very early today thanks to dave so I get to actually spend time in the hallway before the bell goes and I know I have about five minutes more.

"What's up babe?" He says leaning on another locker.

"Well I can't do this anymore." I say slowly. A whole three years of my life. Wasted.

"Can't do what?" He asks raising his eyebrows up. I see Ruba and Kylie by my locker waiting and they both nod and give a sweet smile.

"Well what I'm trying to say is that, we should breakup." I say now looking at him in his eyes.

"Oh woah, hm... okay!" He says in a more cheerful tone and I raise my eyebrows like I'm saying (are you freaking kidding me!)

"Yeah." Is a I managed to say. *I can't waste anymore time with him* I tell myself.

"Bye" he says nudging my shoulder before leaving and I get a slight glimpse of him walking to another girl and holding her waist, I immediately laugh. 

"Don't worry we heard and saw everything!" Ruba says.

"Such a jerk" Kylie says with a frown on her face.

"Why you laughing Tess?" Ruba asks looking confused.

"Well immediately he said by he walked up to another girl down there," I say trying to show the who but they weren't there anymore. "Yeah and holds her by the waist." I say laughing harder than I was before.

"It's funny now, cause we actually know who the really Peter is!" Kylie says as the bell goes, we give ourselves hugs before heading to our classes.

"Good morning class." Mrs. Sophia says as everyone scattered to their seats.

"Good morning Mrs. Sophia." We say in unison.

"How was the break all of you?" She asks in a somewhat looking good mood.

Everyone says what they want to, and I laugh because most people said "shitty", "too short." I mean we just came back from the actual long holiday.

"Tess how was yours? " she asks making me snap my head back to face her, I was looking before at all those that were answering her.

"Well," I start out before taking a quick glimpse at dave, he winks at me making me giggle. "It was an entertaining and life changing break Mrs. How was yours?" I ask with a smile.

"Nice way to put it!" Dave whispers and I laugh.

"That's great too hear Tess!" She takes a moment. "Mine was great as well," she says with bright flashing eyes. "I'm getting married!" She says smiling so widely and everyone just start applauding. "You all are invited! My best students yet!" She says almost like she was about to cry.

"Congratulations!" Someone yells and we start saying ours as well.

The one thing I wish I never had just had to come now. It was happening again. My head started spinning, the sounds sounded further away, and the cough comes.

"Tess you okay!?" I turn and I can see Dave, spinning. I can't make out what he said but I nod.

I knew I had to get out if the class now. I leave my things there and run out of the class. I run towards the girls bathroom but I slowly start getting weak. I start leaning on the lockers using that to help me stay steady.

"Tess!" I hear someone say as I drop to the floor. Dave is now in front of me putting my hair at my back. Mrs. Sophia to is now beside me. "Tess look at me!" I gear dave's voice but it's so faint.

"Let's take her to the sick bay!" Mrs. Sophia says.

"Okay." Dave lifts me off the floor and starts heading for the sick bay when one other class door opens and ruba walks out.

"Oh my God!" She says covering her mouth. "Mrs lily, can Kylie and I please be excused." She asks in a hurry.

"Sure!" She says getting back to the topic.

"What's wrong?!" Kylie says as she turns to look towards us. She gasped and immediately cover her mouth. "Tess!" They both run towards me as the room to the sick bay opens.

"Oh wow! What happened to her ?" The nurse asks.

"I-- I don't know!" Dave says covering his face ad Kylie and ruba hold his shoulder.

"Okay, please step out for a while." The nurse says.

Dave explains what had happened to Kylie and ruba when they heard sirens. They all immediately stand up and see an ambulance outside. The nurse opens the door and the property from the ambulance come out with the carry bed. They put her on top and start heading for the door with ruba, Kylie and dave right behind them.

"Are the three of you coming with us?" One of them asks.

"Yes we are" dave answers as the guy in the ambulance opens the door for them to enter.
