We had amazing luck that we had not been in the room, or found us in the halls, or behind the car, any number of things. But i can't help but feel that zeke will find us. Even tho he is now in the middle of the oregon desert, which sadly is a beautiful place. We all decide t o get in the car so that we can leave this small town.
"So where should we go now?" mark asked us both,
"Well i don't know many places in oregon, ya know kind of lived in the asylum my whole childhood." jack said as mark sat in silence thinking.
"How about drift creek falls? It's a gorgeous place, with waterfalls and a tone of forest around it and we can get supplies and hide out there until we get a plain." he said as he pulled up a photo on his phone of it. It was so eye catching. I loved it.
"Oh my god! Yes let's do it i've always loved the woods and nature!" jack almost screamed the words,
"Heh ya ok jack well do that, first let's go to a mall and grocery store and grab what we need, we'll go to albany since it's close." he said in his deep sexy voice that i love. As we started to drive jack dozed off, probably tired of trying to learn to drive. Me and mark just talked about things we never got to at the asylum. Like my favorite color, books i liked, favorit movie before the asylum. But then the talk got more serious...
"So this may be rude to ask, but... who enrolled you in the asylum." he asked with a deep serious voice, i could tell he wanted to take back what he said as soon as he said it.
"Um well it was my father, he always loved me. I was my his only kid. My mom died giving birth to me. Sad right? He always said that they were in love. Anyway he loved me so when the school told my dad what happened in class, his first response was, i need to get my little girl help, so he did. But then after years of pills and therapy nothing happened, so they had me assessed by a hospital and they said i should temporarily enroll. But it became prominent. And you know the rest." he sat there the whole time with a straight face with his eyes on the road but would occasionally glance at me, i couldn't tell what he was thinking. But he had a sad look at the end. I started to tear up. He hesitated but reached out his hand and grabbed mine with a gentle squeeze, he was so warm and gentle my hand was so small compared to his like a small childes. He gives me a small smile, we sit like that until jack wakes up.
