Fourth ring.....fifth ring.......sixth ring......

'Sorry but the person you are calling is currently busy, please call back again later or leave a voicemail after the beep.'

I inhaled a deep breath in and then exhaled it all out.... along with my impatience. Then I tried to relax and calmly speak on the phone but you see, my brain wasn't matching with my tone of voice, as it was very higher then intended.

"KARI-CHAN YOU BAKA (IDIOT)! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?! The mystery guy that I wanted you to meet-might I add that took SO much persuasion to get him to give us just a day of his busy time and here you betray me?! YOU YOUNG LADY DESERVE A BEATING IN HEAD AS A WAKE UP CALL TO KNOW HOW FORTUNATE YOU ARE! I AM SO DIS-" My voice was cut off as I heard a toilet flush behind me. A woman came out quietly avoiding my gaze in the process. I watched in silence as she went to wash her hands in the sink very far away from me. Then she hurriedly scurried out.

Oops.

"As I was saying, Da--sai (not cool). You better have a very good reason to give me tomorrow!"

I cut off the phone and then went back to the table where everyone was.

They were still talking and laughing meaning thankfully they probably didn't even realise I had disappeared. Which normally would be a bad thing but for now, not so very much.

"Guessing by the look on your face, she won't be coming I believe?" A familiar voice spoke.

I looked up, my eyes captivated by his eyes that reflected disappointment.

Awww.... he looks so darn downhearted. It's making me feel like I should send out a search party right now to look for Kari-Chan to get her here by any means.

Darn you Kari!

"Next time maybe. Thanks anyways for the great date, you guys enjoy yourself." Then he left, the door closing slowly behind him.

After all the exercise of me being dragged across and around like a doll, we finally came to a halt. Sorry let me re correct that, I meant dead end! We were stuck in the alleyway with a huge brick wall blocking the way.

"Where to now Mr Bad Navigator?" I questioned him because after all, he was the one who insisted that he knew where to go, hence why he was pulling me in the first place.

"Urusei-na (You're so noisy), kangae sasete (let me think)." He had tips of his fingers pressed against his temple as he closed his eyes trying to think.
