Max was wandering through the forest. He passed by Vet's office. All of a sudden, he snapped to alert. Gizmo, Rocky! Where are they! He started barking and running, looking for his smaller companions. He passed the Chairman's building, where a black labrador walked out.
She started running beside Max, despite how fast he was going. Too fast to be possible.
Madame Curie said nothing though, and kept up the pace. Neither did Max, he was to focused on finding his friends. Then, he was at the boat where Boss and the fire dogs had lived.
This time Boss joined his running, also keeping silent. He passed the Praxis lab. Then he was at the beach where he had met Possum and Panda. Raoul was sitting beside them, and got up to wave at Max. But he didn't join them. Max saw Baton Rouge. Then he passed DeQuincy. Max finally reached the big silver wall, where Madame Curie and Boss jumped up to the top. Max did what they did, and landed on the top. Finally he spotted Gizmo and Rocky, along with Dr. Lynn, the Dorkie puppies, and his pack leaders, Charlie and Emma. He was about to jump down and go to them when distressed barks started to echo around him. Max paused, looking for the source of the noise.
Don't stop Maxie, keep going! Madame Curie said, despite her mouth not moving. Max did as he was told and jumped down, inches away from Rocky, Gizmo, Dr. Lynn, the Dorkies, and his pack leaders. Your journey is not over yet- something is coming.. Boss said, and was the distressed barks grew louder, as he got closer and closer to his family, he awoke.
