With only 5 weeks left until the baby was due, Alice was ecstatic but scared at the same time. She could not control herself and how she was reacting every time she passed a woman with a pram. She knew that at her age, there would be looks and stares and whispers in the street but she didn't care. She knew that she could look past it all. She knew she would take care of this baby on her own. Jay would be no help and Alice was okay with that. She knew she could handle it on her own. She was strong and tough. She would make herself proud.
____________________________________At only 15, Alice could not afford necessities such as a cot and a pram, but luckily she had her mum to help her. She bought Alice a brand new pram and cog, from EBay. Alice loved them. It was a black hauck pram with a white hood. It had a cup holder tray along the top with black polka dots on the inside of the hood. It even came with a nappy bag, for when Alice took her baby out. In tg end the cot was beautiful, it turned into a bed for once her baby was old enough, and it had a readjustable mattress for the different ages of the child. It had a draw underneath that was used to hold Alice's new bedding for the cot. Alice wanted the best the could afford for her child and that is all she was going to give them.
