Trixie's POV
It was 4:15 when Brian rang my doorbell. I
thought it was a bit unusual due to the fact that ever sense I gave him a key last September he always lets himself. I brushed it off and opened the door and pulled a very stressed looking Brian into a hug.
"It's so good to see you again baby" I said as I planted a kiss on his left cheek. "How were your holidays?"
Katya's POV
"How were your holidays?" Brian asked. My thoughts raced; shit he doesn't know that I didn't go to Boston. Should I tell him the truth or just lie. He'd understand if I told him what I really did, or would he think something is wrong.
"Um great, really hot weather. How was yours?"
"Hot weather? I thought you went to Boston?"
Shit shit shit! Why would I say that. Wtf was a thinking.
"Uh no my family and I actually went to Hawaii. It was great, super nice hotel right on the ocean and nice weather"
"Correct me if I'm wrong but on your mom's Facebook she was posting about how great it was to have everyone in Boston... wait come to think of it, I don't think I saw you in any of her pictures and that's unusual considering how much she adores you" said Brian
Dammit he knows. He knows. Why do I have to be such an idiot and say dumb stuff like hot weather. Wtf. Well I'm obviously going to make it worse by lying, I should just come clean.
"Fine I stayed here"
"Me too" added Brian
"What?"
"My flight got cancelled because of all the snow storms in the Midwest and I was too lazy to book another flight, you should have told me you stayed here, we could have spent our first Christmas together as a couple. Why did you decide to stay in La by the way?"
"Um can I come inside?" I anxiously asked
"Oh yeah of course"
We walked into Brian's house and sat down at his kitchen table as I nervously cracked my knuckles. I started to panic again. Should I tell him why I really stayed. Should I just tell him I decided to stay here because I don't like snow or some dumb excuse. My thoughts were interrupted by Brian kicking my leg under the table.
"Hello? Earth to Brian. Why didn't you go to Boston?"
"Ummm well if I'm going to be honest I...
