Memories and meet ups

Jayids's P.O.V.
"Hi." I wave timidly, standing up with Virgil. They're gonna hate me, aren't they? I smile anyways.
"Hi!" The little girl practically screams, enveloping me in a huge hug. I chuckle and hug her back gently, Virgil smiles.
"Hello." The Dragon Witch seems a lot more welcoming of me than she did a few seconds ago, she was literally breathing fire at me! Virgil notices my look.
"Sorry about that." He says apologetically.
"It's fine. You still have the notebook?" I ask, hopeful. His face lights up.
"Of course!" He says, summoning it. The others have remained silent. He opens it to the back cover, on the inside it still has the two pictures. I smile.
"Salutations." Logic says. I notice they all have wings.
"Okay, anyone care to explain why you all have wings?" I ask, puzzled.
"Oh, yeah. Like you said, we can cast spells here, and that was one of them." Virgil says, smiling.
"Do you have any magic kiddo?" Morality sounds like Ell. I nod.
"Card to demonstrate?" Logic asks. Why has Creativity remained silent?
"Sure." I turn into the shadow monster, and while Morality and Logic step back the little girl looks amazed. Creativity looks suspicious now. I turn into the keel, and he jumps, taking out his sword. He must remember me.
"Whoa, Roman calm down, that's still my brother." Virgil says, jumping in front of me. I guess He knew their names too.
"He chased me out of the forest!" Roman says. I change back, looking at him apologetically.
"It was one of the kings missions. I had to scare you away, sorry about that." I say.
"So that's where you were!" Virgil says, remembering.
"You were literally breathing down my neck!" Roman shouts.
"Princey, he had to." Virgil says gently.
"Yeah, and I gave you back your sword too. Remember this?" I change back and make the shadow words appear again. Recognition dawns on his face.
"Sorry." He mumbles. I just wave it off.
"What is happening?" Morality asks softly.
"The king would send us on missions. One of mine was to scare Roman, we were about eight at the time, so I changed into this and scared him off. He ran, dropping his sword, so I ran after him and gave him back his sword, pointing to the edge of the forest since I can't speak in that form. He understood, but asked me why I wanted him to leave, so I made that message. It was true." I say, and Virgil shudders. He probably still has the marks on his back.

Virgil's P.O.V.
"How could I have forgotten about all of this? I still have the markings for crying out loud!" I say, guilt lacing my voice.
"Markings?" Patton asks, sounding scared. I flinch, I forgot they don't know about it.
"It's okay, now isn't the time to talk about that." Jayid says, grabbing my arm gently.
"I still can't believe I forgot. Is Ell okay?" I ask. He winces.
"I haven't seen her since the day you escaped. I made it out too, but they found me." He says. "The guards might've gotten her, I'm not sure." My Eyes to widen in shock.
"What happened?!" I ask. I really hope Ell is okay.
"Well she shouted 'Fear run' which has me worried." I feel tears welling up.
"Not to sound insensitive, but why is that such a big deal?" Logan asks. I hold back a sob.
"Ell is OCD, and that wasn't three in any way, not even in syllables." I say, my voice barely not cracking. Jayid puts his arm around me comfortingly.
"Oh kiddo." Patton says, rushing over.
"Virgil it's okay. " Lily says, hugging me. The Dragon Witch seems to be lost in thought.
"There might be a spell in the book that allows us to see what she's doing." She says after a moment.
"Can we check?" I ask, trying to recompose myself. She nods, and I follow her into the cave.
We will through the pages, looking for anything about seeing someone, but we don't find any. We're coming close to the end of the book, I shouldn't have let her get my hopes up, not that it's her fault. I turn it to the last page, and my eyes widen as I see the last spell in the book. Ylpeed yrev rof erac I mohw esoohc I nosrep eht ees em tel.  (Let me see the person I choose, whom I care for very deeply.)
The Dragon Witch sees it too and points it out to me, and I nod. I concentrate on Ell, everything about her, everything I forgot, everything that made her the wonderful person she was.
"Ylpeed yrev rof erac I mohw esoohc I nosrep eht ees em tel!" I exclaim quietly, my eyes closed. I hear a whoosh and open my eyes.
There is a mist in front of me, showing me my old house. (The way it's portrayed is kinda like how Eve projects her memories in the movie Wall-E) Ell is sitting at the table, everything immaculately clean, looking out the window in a sort of haze. Jayid comes over to me and stares at it, looking relieved and sad at the same time. I'm sure I look the same. Ell gets up and heads down the hall, to our room. It still looks the same, the pictures everywhere, the instruments, the covers are even still the same ones. She looks like she's about to cry, and closes the door.
"I'm going." I say. No one can stop me, I am going to see Ell. Jayid nods, and I cast the spell to give him wings too.
"I'm coming with you!" Lily says, flying over.
"Me too." The Dragon Witch says "No way I'm letting you go back there alone."
"I'll come with you kiddo." Patton says, calm yet determined.
"I've been there before." Roman says fiercely. Logan just nods.
We all kick off, speeding towards rd dark side of the mind. The dark village is a far flight, so Logan is riding on the Dragon Witch's back for now. As the sky darkens, Patton asks if it's becoming night.
"No, it's just much darker here." I say, and we continue on. Finally, the village is in sight.
I swoop down, landing and getting rid of my wings. Everyone follows, and I get rid of Jayid's wings, but leave everyone else's just in case.
"I'll keep watch." Roman says, and Logan volunteers to stay with him.
"I'll wait out here too." The Dragon Witch says quietly, looking around suspiciously.
I knock three times, and the door is thrown open.
"Virgil! Jayid! You're back!" Ell exclaims in a whisper, taking us inside. Patton and Lily peek out from behind us nervously.
"Yeah, hi Ell." I say. She looks at Patton kindly.
"I'm guessing that you're morality? Nice to meet you. I'm Ell as you probably know." She says.
"I'm Lily!" Lily says enthusiastically. Unfortunately, she basically shouts this.
I hear pounding footsteps coming our way, and fast.
