Jennie would never be the one to take initiative to ask someone out, she would always wait.

"What?" She asked.

"Let's date." Jaebum said as Jennie looked around noticing people were no longer staring and that it was just the two of them. "Everyone already thinks we're together, you made sure of that last night, so what do we have to lose?"

She thought about it for a couple of seconds and laughed a little before nodding.

"Okay fine, Let's date." She Smiled as he smirked back.

"So...we're official like I can call you my girlfriend?" Jaebum asked as Jennie nodded a little before shaking her head again.

"Let's keep it to ourselves for now...I can't be bothered with everyone." She told him as he agreed.

"So do you want to go out on a date?" Jaebum asked as Jennie nodded.

"Sure, where?"

"I'll surprise you." He smirked. "After school."

It was weird to the both of them just casually asking to date each other, but at the same time they felt like it was a good way to put aside their bad blood and get along for good.

"Well...I'm going to see if Jisoo Unnie can cover for my class president shift tonight."

"You had a job?"

"Of course not. It's a meeting I have to do at the end of every semester but I can't be bothered with it." Shrugged Jennie as she walked towards Jisoo who was casually sat with Doyoung and Jinyoung.

"Unnie, can you cover my class president shift this afternoon? I have a date." Said Jennie casually, knowing her best friend wouldn't take her seriously.

"You're going shopping again?" Jisoo took the bait but the two boys just stared at them weirdly.

"Yeah I have a few things to get for Christmas...so could you, pretty please?" Jennie gave her some aegyo as Jisoo scowled and nodded.

"Fine but get me some snacks." Said Jisoo as Jennie smiled before noticing Skyler walk up to Jaebum with a book in her hand.

"So you work as a librarian?" She asked as he nodded, taking her book.

"DIY your Apartment?" Jaebum looked at the title and laughed as she stared at him, unamused.

"What? Just because I'm a girl, I don't know how to fix a lightbulb?" She raised an eyebrow as he immediately shook his head.

"I didn't say that! It's just funny—are you fixing your dorm room?" Asked Jaebum as she nodded.

"I'm going to be painting, fixing the lights, sorting out some of the old floor boards and the old kitchen cabinets." She casually said.

"Do you need any help?"

"Why are you a DIY expert or something?" Skyler rolled her eyes at him.

"Well yeah, I worked at a handyman service before I had an accident, so I can." He smirked.

"Sure, actually I do need at least another person to help me with the lights and some of the heavy lifting, so you're hired." Skyler said cheerfully. "I don't pay with money but I have a kitchen, so will food do?"

"Of course!"

The two of them laughed together, causing someone from the other side of the library to shush them, before Jennie approached them.

"Hey, what are you guys laughing about?" She asked as she sat down next to Jaebum.

"Oh nothing, just some casually banter." Skyler Smiled at her before grabbing her book. "When should I returned this?"
