Cam's POV

I paced around Lexi's room, trying to figure out where she is, Jaxon had left to search for Lexi and Kieran around the campus.

The only trace of where the both of them could possibly be, were left on the floor was a trail of blood which was hopefully Kieran's, if anything were to happen to my Lexi, others would never forgive me for not taking better care of her. An oddly shaped stone necklace was on the floor.

"What in the living hell?" I muttered under my breath before a symbol-like marking appeared on the back of the stone. Gritting my teeth together, I clutched the necklace and walked to the only two people who I could possibly get answers from.

I could hear giggles behind the doors as I approached it, quickly opening it, the giggles and smiles on their faces immediately died sown as I turned to face a very flushed Dan and Luce.

"What's up?" Dan said with a confused look on his face.

"Lexi disappeared with Kieran, I can't find her anywhere," I said

"Cam, you do realize, she's incredibly annoyed at how jealous you are, give the girl some space," Luce said sarcastically before turning around to smile at Dan.

"No, they both literally disappeared out of thin air and this was left on the floor, do you guys know what it could possibly be?" I said, realizing they still didn't give much shit, I continued, "There's a symbol marked on the back, it seems familiar, but I just can't remember what it symbolizes".

Dan took the necklace and handed it to Luce so she could get a closer look.

"Dear mother of Lord," Luce whispered

"Is anything wrong?" Dan asked

"What's happening, Luce answer me please," I begged

"It's a memory spell, it captured moments and specific memory one wants, they're extremely destructive, and can only be done by some powerful individuals," she said, fascinated. "I've only handled one before this and is extremely rare, and I didn't know what it was or if the spells were still working, I touched it and I was watching memories of this couple , not many people can unlock the spell, but of course, we're not the typical fallens are we?".

"The thing here is that we need to find out which memory this one holds and if it connects with Lexi," I reminded them.

Luce clutched the necklace with both hands, nothing seemed to happen, my heart dropped as I figured the only lead on where Lex was isn't going work.

Suddenly, Luce fell backwards, and seconds later, her eyes flew open. A look of an indescribable shock had plastered her face, she turns to look at the both of us as her voice trailed.

"Lilith," she spoke slowly said as if she was trying to pronounce an unknown word.

"Luce!" Dan yelled, loudly and quickly, trying to snap her back into reality and as if on cue, Luce had continued to act more like a human again. She blinked rapidly before muttering "shit" under her breath.

"Luce, what did you see," Dan asked seriously.

"There was a lady, leaving her baby, a little baby girl in a basket," she said, tears swelling in her eyes, it was in this corridor, its cold, oh god, what did Lexi get herself into?" She cried.

"What's wrong Luce," I said, kneeling down and talking to her slowly, trying to remain calm.

"The lady, the lady who left the baby was Lilith, I also saw a spell work she did while leaving her kid, and let me ask you boys, how this would be the only thing left behind when Kieran and Lexi disappeared if they weren't connected to the necklace, if they weren't somehow connected to Lilith.

"Luce, you said a cold corridor right?" I asked

"It was icy, literally icy, there were ice all over the walls, the floors, everywhere," she blurted.

"Dan, I think I know where she is," I said before letting out a long breath. I immediately got up from the floor and headed to my room along with the sound of Dan and a very terrified Luce behind me.

I searched my room frantically before letting out a sigh of relief when a small, black box appeared underneath my closet.

"What is going on?" Luce yelled, her voice shaking.

"I think Kieran brought her to Niflheim, were Lexi was left," I said.

"Where Lexi was left?" Luce asked

"I'll explain later, now isn't the time, we need to find her now," I said.

"But why would he bring her to such a shitty place?" Dan asked

"I'm hoping for the best, but I'm just saying, there's not much to hope for in such a dark place like that," I said. "She's most likely going to end up where her demon of a mother came from, and obviously, what we've feared for the most, may come true," I finally said, facing Dan.
