Chapter Fourteen

Y/N Kogane, the white paladin of the Voltron force, day three. The hope of getting back to the castle ship is dwindling. I'm almost out of jet pack fuel, and I'm hungry and thirsty. But the hunger and thirst pains are slowly fading. I'm tired.

Y/N Kogane, the white paladin of the Voltron force, day five. I have lost all hope of getting back home to Pidge and the others. I ran out of fuel trying to find my way to a planet or the castle ship. I'm very hungry. I'm very thirsty. My suit is maintaining most of the moisture though. I want to apologize to my teammates. Someone find me.

Y/N Kogane, the white paladin of the Voltron force, day seven. No hope. So hungry. So thirsty. There is nothing that I can to look forward to, other than Pidge when she joins the stars. So, I give up.

I give my body to the planets. They were made out of the same celestial dust I was, and I should return the things they did for me.

I give my soul to the stars. Let whoever receives it next be lucky and have all of the stars on their side.

And I give my heart to the universe. Let all those who feel unloved or sad feel my the last pieces of heart's love and let it warm and protect them.

Suddenly, a whooshing noise came toward you and the white lion was hovering just above you, opening its mouth to let you in.

And once again, you were trapped in another cursed cryopod.

Pidge pressed her cheek to the glass of the cryopod, swearing that she could see your humane ears merging into your head and being replaced by some Galra-like ears that looked soft to the touch. She thought you looked like a cat.

Allura stood next to Pidge, also noticing Y/N's lack of human - or even Altean, because of the finally revealed test results - ears and a gain of Galran ones. Because of her lesson in not-judging-someone-because-of-their-parents'-deacons, Allura honestly didn't care that Keith and Y/N had Galra blood running through their veins. She was mostly surprised that Y/N had Altean blood as well.

It would mean that Keith, Shiro, and Y/N are not blood related. I mean, technically, we ALL are, though I suppose they do not consider each other immediate family anymore. Keith said to us that Y/N is still his beloved sister, the very same one who loved him and cared for him for better or worse. Perhaps I'm overthinking this, and I should just leave it be. Those DNA test results should be coming from Krul very soon, and soon, all this family drama will all be forgotten about. Allura held her index finger and thumb up to her lips, contemplating the immense size of the issue. She knew that it would all be resolved sooner than later, and everything would be alright with enough time given.

The cryopod opened, causing Pidge to fall forward and Y/N to trip on her. To say the least, it was a mess.

Y/N gasped for air. Then she stood up and glanced at Pidge. The look in her eyes told that she had something important to say. Allura ran over to the other room to get her writing pad. She wrote:

"Call a team meeting. Then, I want A LOT of Hunk's breakfast special."

"So what you're trying to say is," Lance started, rubbing his temple as if he were more confused than usual, "that the universe told you that your real parents are the two WORST people in the universe, and since Zarkon didn't want a daughter, Haggar gave you to who Keith's mom was, who, to protect you, brought you to Earth with her. And you age much slower than humans, and you were raised by a human, so you are physically and mentally sixteen." Lance drew in a deep breath and prepared himself to keep speaking and explaining to himself. "And you've looked mostly human for your entire life because Alteans look a bit like humans and human DNA was given to you through an IV when you got severely hurt."

You nodded. "But, I think we should start heading home to finish our job.

"And the Galra."
