it was a time lost between the goguryeo and silla dynasties. legends from the silla (신라) dynasty suggest that this lost dynasty was started by the moon goddess' lover, ok. the star crossed lovers' story can be traced back to the late goguryeo (고구려) dynasty. similar tales can be found in different cultures around the world.
as the tale goes, to appease the three influential royal families, ok married a daughter from each family. each of his wives gave birth to two sons. emperor ok had only one child with the moon goddess, who was his first born. ultimately, ok's successor was jin, the first son.
after his coronation, he and his wife were assassinated by his six half brothers. the goddess of the moon was so angered by the humans that she used the light of the moon to destroy the palace and everyone inside, thus ending the lost dynasty.
there is no further information about the lost dynasty.
