Love hurts.

"Wait till you see the outside." He said, sliding open glass doors to reveal the garden balcony.
She stepped out, her bare feet touching the sun-warmed stones that paved the garden. There was a small fountain, and beautiful flowers all around. She walked to the balcony, which over looked the entire island of Manhattan.
She lived in London, once upon a time. But she never got so high up. She was used to seeing buildings from below, concrete giants ready to crush her. but here, she rose above it all.
Here, everything was at her fingertips.
She could see the Atlantic ocean too, faraway, small ships coming in and out.
The sunlight sprinkled a light mist over the city, giving it a mysteriously sparkling cloak of beauty.
It was breathtaking, to say the least.
He stood by her, seeing the amazement in her hazel eyes. Gabriel never cared for material things too much...they were always just a mundane part of his life. But if this could make her happy, he would give her a thousand rooftops to admire.
The wind kissed her face, and whipped strands of hair out of place. He brushed it out of her eyes.
"I love you." he said, his lips so close to her ear. She closed her eyes and said nothing back. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and began to kiss down her neck.
He began to unbutton her sundress from the back, his lips working their way down her bare back.
He picked her up and led her inside, dropping her on the bed.
If this was what she needed to do, she was ready to do it. it would make her feel a lot less guilty.
She slipped out of the dress, and he jumped on top of her, kissing her, touching every inch of her bare skin.
She kissed and touched him back, not holding back any reservations.
He pressed a button and the curtains drew shut, giving them privacy. he pressed on top of her, and stopped for a second.
"Are you sure?" he whispered.
"Yes." She said back. He smiled, and slid off his pants.
"It might hurt a little..you know...since it's your first time...but I'll make it worth it, I promise." he whispered, kissing her collarbone. If only he knew.
"I don't care." She whispered, biting gently into his ear. He moaned softly.
He went into her, making her tremble. He wasn't like Tom Riddle. He was much more gentle, as if afraid to hurt her.
She pushed him off of her and jumped on top of him as he climaxed.
He pushed her back so he could hold her in his arms.
"I love you." He said again, kissing her face. "That was amazing."
This was the least she could do for him, right? This was what he wanted...If sex could make her feel less guilty, it was the way out.
"We should get ready...you know. Dinner's in an hour." She said.
He smiled lazily. "But I just want to stay here with you..."
She unwrapped his arms around her and got up. She needed to take a bath.
As she passed by the mirror, she saw someone she barely recognized.
She walked closer to it and pressed her cheek against the cold bathroom mirror.
Who was this girl? Messy sex hair, hickeys on her neck, bruises in her heart.
This was not the Abigail Wool that walked into Hogwarts. This was not her. This was a different girl.
This was someone else, someone she wants to hate. This was a girl who used her beauty to manipulate. This was a girl who fucked and enjoyed it. This was a girl who was hungry, desperate. Who would give anything and everything for a boy.
She turned on the shower, wanting the warm water to wash away everything. As the steam creeped up the mirror, she no longer had to look at the terrible beauty that stared back at her.
...........................................
As she got out of the shower, a house elf knocked on the door.
She quickly slipped on a bathrobe. "Come in."
The female house elf brought towels and a delicate paper box.
"Your clothes for tonight, Miss. Master Gabriel instructed Daisy to bring this to you."
"Thank you." She said, taking the box and the towels. The house elf stood there expectantly, waiting to help her change.
"Oh..it's okay. I can change myself." she said, letting the elf out of the bathroom so she could have some privacy.
She put on the gold-and-lilac dress and noticed the price tag.
She gasped. It was the price of a car.
Gabriel knocked and came in, all dressed up in a clean back and white suit combo.
"You look beautiful, as always." He said, giving her a quick kiss before leading her downstairs to the dining room.

"Of course, Mason. You must know, investments don't always fall though properly. But be rest assured. I've done business with them on many occasions, they can be trusted. The Minister himself hires them to take care of his finances..." Marvolo went on, drinking whiskey and discussing business with Mason Erdem.
Miranda talked with Anna Delacrioux about Paris and organizing this year's New York Debutante Ball."
Dressed immaculately in a floor-length Chanel black dress, Miranda played the part of the high-society house wife perfectly. As the diamonds around her neck sparkled under the chandeliers, no one could've guessed her tainted past.
"Oh, darling, you have to join me and the other girls in Aspen this Christmas! No one plans parties as you do." She gushed to Mrs. Delacrioux.
"Oh..Miranda dear, you're too kind. but I would be delighted! Oh! Here comes Gabriel!"
Abigail froze, seeing who else was in them room. There had been no prior mention of the Erdems joining them for dinner....
Miranda turned around and flashed a dazzling fake smile, but upon seeing her daughter standing, arm in arm, with Gabriel Delacrioux, her smile gave way to surprise. She had seen them together at Christmas but assumed it might be a school fling...but she never expected it to be this serious.
"And his friend Abigail!" Mrs. Delaciroux exclaimed, her voice nasal. Although she had nothing against the girl...she did not approve. She knew nothing about this girl's parents. For all Anna knew, Abigail was a orphaned muggle-born girl. Anna did not want her son running around with some poor Cinderella, tainting his own and the family name.
