~Percy's POV~
I had dreams during the first 2 weeks in camp about my half brother,Tyson,working in the forges and.There wasn't much excitement.Just making stuff.
The next thing I know some one's shaking me awake on Friday.
"Percy,wake up.It's almost breakfast time."Grover said.
I heard a small thud.I opened my eyes.
"What was that?"I asked.
"What was what?"Grover asked.
"I heard a thud."
I got up and went to go open the door.It was a good thing that I wore my clothes when I went to sleep because when I opened the door two girls tumbled to the floor in font of me.When they stopped moving around I could make out who they were.One of them was Fawn an the other was probably Amber by what Grover had said about her.
"Hurry up and get off of me!"Amber said.
"I'm trying but it's hard to when you keep squirming!"Fawn replied."Use your elbow and help!"
"Why don't you teleport?!"
"Fine!"
Then Fawn disappeared and reappeared in the doorway.
"Now get up so we can get to the lake!"
Amber stood up and said,"No,we're going to the woods!"
"No,the lake!"
"Woods!"
"Lake!"
"Woods!"
"Lake!"
"Woo-wait."
"What?"
"We're in the presence of people."
Then Fawn spotted me and Grover.
"Hi."I said.
"Oh crap."she whispered. Amber giggled.
"Hi Grover."Amber said shyly.
"Hi."Grover said.
"So what were you guys arguing about?"I asked.
"We jut did a prank!"Amber smiled.
"A big prank!"Fawn exclaimed.
"A huge prank!"Amber almost yelled it at us.
"A stinky prank!"Fawn added.
"What is the prank?"I asked.
Fawn and Amber looked at each other then said,"We put fart bombs in the Stoll brothers' pants pockets and underwear!"
Me and Grover started laughing our heads off.
"So,why are you arguing about woods and the lake?"Grover asked when we calmed down.
"Because we need a place to hide and we are going to hide in the woods!"Amber yelled at Fawn.
"Lake!"
"Woods!"
"Lake!"
"Woods!"
"The woods are too obvious!The lake is better!"
"The woods have great covering in he trees!"
"Ahem."I said when it started to look like they were going to tear each other apart.They looked at me."Um,why don't you split up?Fawn can go to the lake and Amber can go to the woods."
They both looked surprised.
"Why didn't we think of that?"Amber asked.
"Yeah,then we could have avoided the arguments."Fawn agreed.
"Yeah."
"Good idea Percy!"Fawn beamed at me.
"Com on,we gotta go before the bombs explode."Amber turned to leave.
"I'll come with you!"Grover said.They both left.
"Well,bye Percy."Fawn turned to leave.
"I'll come with you too if you want."
"Um,"
"You can't breath underwater,can you?"
"Not really."
"How long can you hold your breath?"
"Well,"
"What if the current washes you away while you're hiding?"
"Percy!"Fawn sounded like she was struggling to sound mad."If you want to come then you can come!"
"Okay,then let's go."
We ran to the lake as fast as we could.Fawn jumped in as soon as we got there.I jumped in after her and started to think of bubbles full of air that would help Fawn breath.Bubbles started to form around her.Then she had one big bubble around her head.
"Thanks."she said.
"No problem.So when do the fart bombs explode?"I asked.
"About another half hour."
"Why so long?"
"Because the fart bombs need to gather enough stink to make them smell bad for a month."
"Isn't that going to punish us all?"
"No.Me and Amber did think of how bad they'd smell so we used the ones that would stop smelling bad to everyone around them but still make them smell pretty bad to themselves."
I smiled.I like the way Fawn thinks.
"Hey,remember yesterday when me and Annabeth gave you your bombs back?"
"Yeah."
"Well I saw you drawing something and I was wondering what it was."
"Oh!I was drawing about my story that I'm writing."
"What is it about?"
She blushed a little.Then we heard Annabeth calling my name.
"I think I should tell you later."she said.
Then she took a big breath and blew out causing her to go farther into the lake and farther away from me.I sighed and jumped out. Annabeth called my name one more time and then saw me.
"Percy!Where have you been?I've been looking all over for you!"she said.
"I was helping Fawn."I answered.
Her smile disappeared and her face got a little red.
"What was the problem?Had trouble breathing?"she asked.
"Actually,yes."
Then I heard a splash behind me.
"Percy!Annabeth!You gotta get out of here!"Fawn sputtered.
"Why?"I asked.
"Conner and Travis are around here and the you-know-whats have gathered enough smell.It'll hit everybody near them and they're coming here!"
