Olympic God, My Gold

Aylah is a world champion in Taekwondo off to the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. Her best friend Averie is her trainer. Together they take on the intense training and preparations that go into competing in the games along the way. And of course they get into loads of trouble and have many distractions along the way. Will Aylah be able to fufill her life goal of wining a gold medal? Will Averie keep her on track and not give into her party-girl ways? 

Trust me, I am awful at writing summaries. Just read the story and tell me what you think.(:

I am writing this story because of a couple reasons.

1)   There are hardly any Olympic stories on here! I’ve tried to find some and there are very few! Well there seem to be lots, but only a few that are still being updated.

2)   I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE OLYMPICS! I mean seriously, who isn’t? I have been faithfully watching everyday.

3)   Probably the number one reason on here, I’m going to the Olympics in 2016! You’re probably thinking to yourself is this girl for real? And yes, I am. I am not an athlete at ALL. I love sports but I couldn’t play any to save my life, I’m a dancer anyway. But, my best friend is being reviewed to go to the games in 2016; she’s ranked towards the top and is favored to go. So being her best friend, she’s taking me with her. But of course, I have to work. She’s trusting me to help her with clothes- no joke, she has NO style, and I frequently help her cross train, I love working out so I make her do it with me. So I’m going as her trainer (different from her coach). I unfortunately probably won’t be allowed on the floor with her but we shall be staying together for sure. Her mother is hopefully going to be able to come but she’s a brain surgeon and is in very high demand. But it’s the OLYMPICS. She has to. Haha

4)   And final reasons, I highly respect all the athletes and I’ve been a HUGE swimming fan, okay you got me, I’ve been a HUGE Michael Phelps fan. Seriously started screaming when he broke the medal record.

This will be roughly based off my best friend, my favorite athlete, and of course it’s set at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic games.

*Disclaimer, I have only been to one Olympic games and that was the winter games in Toronto, and I only went to the ice-skating. So my knowledge is somewhat limited but don’t worry, I have done my research!
