Tony Stark-Rodgers' p.o.v
"Hey kiddo," I smiled at Peter, he hadn't moved from the bunk where we left him the previous night and the only thing that had changed was the paper in his hand. I looked up at my husband and saw the worry etched into his face. Peter was a waking corpse, he'd had no sleep. I took in his appearance properly. There were dark circles under his eyes and you could tell he had lost weight from the way his clothes hung. He also needed a haircut; his brown curls were long and messy.
"Mr S-Stark, M-Mr Rodgers nice to meet you again. I finished your paper on FRIDAY it was very good."

"I'm glad you like it kid," I smiled at him warmly,

"I hope this doesn't - um - come across as rude," Peter tripped over his words and I felt Steve nod encouragingly beside me, "Why are you talking to me?"
"Well we didn't want the sporty kid, or the one who'd been here the longest. We want you. So pack your bags we're taking you with us, all the paperwork is filled out, so unless you have a major objection we're adopting you." Steve said.
"Are you sure?" Peter looked confused,
"Yes of course we're sure kid!" I laughed,
"Okay, thank you." He smiled for the first time since we'd met and my heart fluttered with pride. We had a son.

"Welcome to Stark tower." I announced,
"This, young man, is your new bedroom, I know that right now it's a mattress on the floor in the middle of a room but we wanted you to be able to make it your own."
Peter ran up to the floor to ceiling window a look of awe on his face.
"The view up here is amazing!" He grinned throwing himself into my arms.
"I gets even better," Steve said tapping the glass, the room immediately became pitch black,
"That's so cool! It has a black out function," Peter said tapping the glass again, allowing light back into the room.
"Do you want to leave your bags up here and go meet the other avengers, well those of them that are here?" I asked,
"Can I?"
"Of course they're your family now too."

Peter Parker's p.o.v
We entered the cinema room and found Clint, Natasha and Thor sat watching finding nemo.
"Woah this room is so cool!" I gasped,
"Ahhh, you must be young Peter. It is a pleasure to meet you." Thor said offering me his hand, I took it shyly and shook it.
"Hiya kid we've heard allllll about you from your Dads over there," Clint shook my hand. Electricity shot up my wrist causing my forearm muscle to cramp. He let go cackling,
"Ha I shocked you! You should've seen the look on your face!"
"Jesus Christ Clint. give the kid a break!" Natasha yelled smacking Clint on the back of the head, "He's been here less then two minutes and you're already pranking him." She turned to me and her expression softened. I went to shake her hand but was shocked when she drew me in for a hug,
"Don't worry about him. I'm obviously going to be your favourite aunt/uncle anyway."
"We were going to take Peter to ikea and buy some stuff for his room do any of you want to join?" Tony interrupted from behind us.

We had got back from IKEA (and the comic book store) and Steve was helping me put up the flat pack furniture I had picked for my room. It was hilarious watching the super soldier struggle to assemble Swedish furniture.
I gave myself a small smile and fumbled with Aunt May and Uncle Ben's rings from where they hung around my neck.
