Clay looked at his phone in confusion. His older cousin just called him but the conversation only lasted merely five seconds before she ended it. He looked over to the bed next to him where his older brother usually slept, he was currently on a mission and wouldn't be back until in the morning. He sat up rubbing the sleep from his eyes and redialed his cousins number, she always picked up his calls even if she was asleep. "Hey you've reached Misti Belaqua, sorry if you missed me please leave a message ", his brows furrowed. He stood up and walked over to his dresser, opening the top drawer and grabbing his little black book. He riffled through it until he came across his brother's number for when on missions. Dialing the number he went back to his bed and sat down, hoping his brother would answer even though it was late. "Hello? This is a private number, who is this?" Clay sighed in relief at his brothers voice. He took a deep breath before speaking, "Its Agent 9 requesting to speak with Agent 11." There was a silence on the other line until the voice spoke, "Brother. How did you get this number?" Clay smirked, "I have my ways, Brody." There was a sigh on the other end followed by a grunt. "Why are you calling, you are supposed to be sleeping", Brody scolded. Clay rolled his shoulders at his brothers tone and clenched his jaw. "Misti called but ended it in a rush. I tried to call her back but she never answered", Clay explained as best he could while still being a bit sleepy. Brody was silent before saying,"I'll be back first thing in the morning. Talk to you then." Brody hung up the phone and Clay stared at it before letting out a deep sigh.
The next morning Clay stood in the lobby of the agency waiting for his brothers arrival. Waiting with him was three of the top five ranking hitman in the agency. James, Dylan, and Kyle. Clay checked his watch and when he looked up, his brothers team was walking through the doors, Brody being the last one through. He spotted them standing by the training room and walked over. "I thought it was just me and you Clay?", Brody said glancing at the three hitman standing behind his brother. "We have a problem", Kyle said quietly so only they could hear. Brody nodded and led them to an empty meeting room. "Okay so lets go over everything, Clay you first." Clay nodded and pulled out his cell phone placing it on the table and tapped it with his index finger, "Agent 2 called me last night but ended it in less than 5 seconds. She sounded to be in a rush in the end but seemed fine when I answered. I tried calling her back but she didn't answer." "Agent 2?", James gave Clay a confused look. Clay was about to answer but Dylan beat him to it, "You know her as Hyena. She's their cousin." James nodded in understanding while Clay looked impressed.
Brody stared at the table and asked, "Any thing else?" To which Kyle began explaining their situation. "Our brothers never showed up to their dorm from what we gathered. Their beds are still made." Brody turned his gaze to Kyle, "Who are your brothers?" The hitman looked at eachother before answering. "Agent 3, GI." Dylan answered instantly. James followed with, "Agent 1, Saber." Kyle sighed and sat down in a chair, he ran his hand down his face before answering the agent leaning on the table by his fists. "Agent 10, Glader. But another hitman of ours, her brother is also missing. Agent 7, Lex. All four are members of the group Shadow." Brody nodded and sat down with an exhausted look and stared at his brother, "So Sam, Ryan, Tylon, and Josh. Well when were they all last seen?" Clay sat down and James followed suit along with Dylan. "Well Misti and her team were supposed to be staying at the Grand Jenkins Hotel before their flight this morning for a classified activity?" He said and leaned back in his chair. Brody then turned his gaze to the three hitman. James sat up straight and his posture went serious, "Sam and Josh were reported to be seen in the training room after curfew with the permission of the CEO, Tylon and Ryan went to a restaurant for steak but before going, Ryan told me he was going to stop by the library."
The room went quiet as everyone thought over the information. Clay stood up with a determined look and moved his eyes around the room. "Well if something happened I'm not going to sit by, what do you guys say we do a little investigating?" James looked at him and frowned, "Without the CEO's permission?" Clay nodded and James sighed standing up. Dylan and Kyle followed suit and all that was left was Brody who just sat there staring at them. "Come on kid, they are family", Dylan urged. Brody sighed and stood up walking over to the door. "I'll cover for you guys, I have other things to do with my team but if you find any evidence, don't hesitate to report them back to this room by nightfall." And with that he left. The remaing four smiled. "Alright I'm going to go look around the hotel, anyone care to join?", Clay asked making his way to the door. James raised his hand and followed him. Dylan patted Kyle's shoulder and waved, "We will check out the training room and the library."
There were cops circling the hotel entrance causing the boys to have to enter unnoticed. After getting through the doors, James whistled. "Well a fight sure went down in here. Bullet holes everywhere and four dead bodies" he said as he kicked one. Clay walked over to the front desk and scanned the area picking up what looked to be a dart. "Hey James I found something!" He yelled over his shoulder. James walked over with his hands in his pockets and looked at the dart. He took it from Clay's hands and examined it, "Sleeping dart and its empty. So question is who was shot with it?" Clay looked at the dart and hoped it wasn't the team. James walked up the stairs and started following the police tape, motion for Clay to follow. They followed it all the way to a hotel room with a busted open door. They walked inside carefully stepping over a guy with a knife to his heart. "Two dead men. Two knives. Furniture turned over and the beds are a mess", James stated looking around. Clay looked at both knives and pointed at them, "The knife in the man by the door is Hyena's. This knife in this man is Jaguar's. But the man also has a bullet wound in his head." James looked at both and put his hand on his hips. "So they both were in this room when fighting off the intruders." Clay nodded and spotted the leather jacket and cell phone on the bed closest to the bathroom. "Thats Hyena's jacket and phone." James walked over to the other bed and picked up another phone checking the contacts. "Falcon's phone", he said tossing it to Clay. "They were definitely taken", Clay confirmed and James gave a nod.
Kyle pushed open the training room door and walked in. "No one has been in here yet", Kyle stated and scanned the room. He took note of the newly holed targets in the shooting range area and proceeded towards the weaponry. Dylan walked over to the table littered with guns and knifes, scaning the floor around it. "Looks like they were prepared to fight. There is a gun and knife missing", Kyle said and pointed at the gun and knife wall. Dylan looked around the room, "Well clearly they didn't fight in here so maybe in the lobby?" Kyle narrowed his eyes at his friend. "I notice a few of the ammo boxes were badly dented in there." They both went back to the empty lobby and walked around. Dylan noticed a red spot on the blue carpet and bent down to get a better look. "Did you see blood too?" He asked looking up at Kyle who was currently going through the camera footage. "No why? And theres nothing showing on the cameras." "Because theres a blood drop on the carpet right here. There was a fight in here. But who won?" Kyle exhaled before nodding his head towards the doors, "Lets go check out the library."
"Its locked. On a Tuesday", muttered Dylan. Kyle rolled his eyes and pushed his friend, bending down he pulled out a small bag of paper clips and started working on the lock. "Pick lock my friend. Its easy." After a few minutes the door was unlocked and they walked in. "Never thought I'd actually walk into a library before in my life time", Kyle said as he walked down a aisle and Dylan chuckled. They turned down another aisle and came to a knocked over shelf with books everywhere on the floor. And a dead man leaned in a book corner nearby. "I think its safe to say that Saber and GI won this fight", laughed Kyle. "Did one of them beat this guy to death with a book?", Dylan asked picking up a bloodied book next to the man. Kyle laughed even more apon seeing it, "I think so!"
Leaving the library they walked back towards the agency. They were putting together the evidences they found when Dylan spotted something near a passing alley. He walked over to it and picked it up and held it out infront of him. "They didn't win the fight here", he stated with a shake of his head. Kyle gave him a confused look, "What?" Dylan looked at him worriedly. "GI's citizen ID", he said holding it up for him to see it himself. Kyle cursed and kicked a nearby crate. "What the hell is going on?"
