Jihoon gently held Soonyoungs hand, softly cupping it while the elder watched him, unable to speak. He woke up a few days ago but wasn't allowed visitors until then.
The doctor had said that the pressure on his chest caused his throat and lungs to get slightly hurt, they had fixed them, making sure they were alright. For some reason though, Soonyoung couldnt talk. He tried to say something to Jihoon after those 'I love you too' words but never could.
"Do you think we should tell the other members?" Jihoon asked and Soonyoung grabbed his phone, typing with his free hand.
i dont know, maybe we should wait until i can talk again
Jihoon nodded and glanced down at Soonyoung, a smile sitting on his lips.
what?
"I'm just glad that you love me back" Jihoon said and Soonyoung began smiling too, "I honestly thought you wouldn't, since we only met a few times and other then that we talked online"
how could someone not love you after what we did together? we went on a picnic, a concert, we made bunch of jokes, its fine. the important thing is that i love you
The blonde smiled brightly, showing his teeth. "Can i kiss you?"
Soonyoung didn't type. He set his phone down and sat up, cupping Jihoons face and setting a gentle kiss on his lips.
Despite how careful he was they both felt the feeling, like thousands of butterflies in their stomachs or like fireworks were going off right before their eyes.
They had to pull away for air and when they did Jihoons face was flushed and he smiled, looking away.
Soonyoung moved Jihoons face to look back at him and they made eye contact.
