I was falling in and out of consciousness when I heard the door open slowly. I saw a thin woman with blonde hair...it was Julie. I tried not to look at her as I was still very sorry about what I did. "Hi sweetie" she said as she poked only her head into the room. "Look I'm so so sorry for what I did to you. I didn't mean to hurt you I just have some issues" I said as a tear shed down my check. "I know" she said as she slowly walked in the room. I peered up at her to see bruises all over her neck, they were bruises in the shape of fingers. My jaw must of dropped because she tried to hide her neck with her hair. "I hate seeing my baby boy like this" she said as some tears escaped her eyes. She wiped them away quickly trying not to let me see. "I'm not your baby boy" I said sternly. "Well you are my kid but I guess you aren't 'my' baby boy because I was never there for you like I should've been" she said as she looked down at the floor with a sad look. "No that's not what I meant I meant that I'm not your baby boy because I don't have a gender I'm non-bianary which means I don't have a fixed gender I go by she/him" I said as I looked at th restraints hoping they would some how get loose so I could get up to hug Julie...to hug my mom. I might not know her but I can tell she means no harm. "Get me out of these fucking restraints so I can hug my god damn mother" I waited for a few minutes but there was no response. "For God's sakes I'm not gonna fucking hurt her again I just want to fucking hug her for fucks sakes let me out!!!" I yelled so loud I knew someone heard me. "You...you called me mom!" Julie said as her jaw dropped. "Well that I'd what you are right?" I asked with I slight smirk on my face as I gave her a puzzled look. "What do you mean?" She asked as she looked at me with her deep ocean blue eyes. "You are my mom right?" I said as I chuckled in the back of my throat. "Yea" she said like she was embarrassed.
