I arrived at the house to see my oldest sisters car there. You see, I have an older sister as well, but once she got married we slowly drifted apart. We haven't heard from her in a while. Last time we saw her she had just told us she was having a kid. Never heard from her again.

I walked up to the house and used my key to just walk in. Right as I walked in I was greeted with a hug, from someone tiny.

"AUNTIE!!!" said the small one hugging my legs.

"U-uh.?" I said.

"Hey! Sarah! Come over here! O-oh. Sorry sis. Um.. This is Sarah. My daughter." Danny said.

Danielle was her full name but everyone always called her Danny. It was shorter and easier.

I looked up and just smiled at her. Sarah let go of my legs then started tugging my bag.

"Is there presents in there? Mommy always said you'd come with presents." Sarah said eagerly.

"N-no! Sarah honey this is Auntie Violet! This isn't santa sweetie!" Danny laughed while picking the small child up.

We sat in the family room and talked for a while but I was fairly tired so I just went back to my room. Ahh, room sweet room. Hasn't changed a bit. It's weirder to be in here now though. Pictures of my boyfriend and bestfriend all over the walls and their CD's still around my CD player. My jiggy boo pillow hadn't even moved.

---Late next day--

I saw little Sarah out in a tree in our front yard so I decided to join her. Why not, I'm her aunt anyways. I climbed up the tree and asked what she was up to.

"Praying to Grammy. Im asking her when she's coming back." She told me, with closed eyes and still folded hands.

I gasped a little and wiped away a tear. It's amazing how this young child already has such faith. I don't believe in a god and I didn't think my sister did either so I didn't know where she got this from.

"You know, I used to spend lots of time up in this tree." I told her.

"Really?!" She asked eagerly, opening her eyes and turning to me.

"Really. I had all kinds of adventures in this little tree. It's really cool to make believe here."

"Wow! What'd you do?"

"Well, look over there, see that branch? Imagine a pretty princess lives there."

"But it's so far away and so high up!" She whined.

"Yes it is, but the prince will save her from her tower!" I told her. She lit up like the fourth of July.

"Really?!!" She asked.

"Yep!"

"Cool!!" She exclaimed, "Auntie? Do you think I'll get a prince someday?" Sarah asked me, while looking into my eyes, sad.

"Someday you will. He's just waiting to save you."

She hugged me and asked," Have you found your prince?"

I took a minute of silence then replied, "Yeah. Yeah I have."

"Woooowwwww." She said. Then she smiled the biggest smile I've ever seen on a child. "So I'll get a prince too! Yay!"

---After Dinner---

"Hey" I said into the phone.

"*yawn* heyyy babbbeee" Jayy said with his adorable sleepy voice.

"You're tired, I'll just talk to you in the morning. It's no biggie."

"No!" He suddenly sounded more awake. "I wanna talk to youuu." He whined.

I giggled and we started a conversation. We talked until about three a.m. then I made him go to sleep. That boy gets so stubborn sometimes I swear.

I grabbed my jiggy boo pillow and curled up in a ball. Before I knew it, I was asleep.
