"Shh," I hissed, smacking the back of Jimin's head. He giggled, adjusting his little party hat that had fallen onto his face when I smacked him. We were hidden behind the couch in the dorms, along with Namjoon and Jin. Taehyung, Hoseok and Yoongi were hidden behind the kitchen counter, and all of us had party poppers in our hands, cute little party hats balanced on our heads.

"He should be here soon," Jimin whispered, peeking up and over the couch as he tried to catch a glimpse of the door.

"Get back down!" I heard Namjoon whisper-yell from the other side of the room, just as the door opened with a click, and the lights flickered on.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" we shouted, hopping up and popping the party poppers, watching as the streamers fell around Jungkook, who stood in the doorway with a surprised look on his face. Namjoon tripped over climbing over the couch, and I laughed, jumping over the backboard with Jimin right behind me.

"Happy birthday, Jungkookie!" I cheered, grinning and running to give him a massive bear hug. However, I looked up from burying my head in his chest when I felt how stiff he was stood. "Jungkook?" I called softly, leaning back a bit to get a proper look at his face. My mouth fell open when I saw the crystal tears shining in his eyes.

"Jungkook? Hey, what's wrong?" Hoseok asked worriedly, walking closer and tilting his head in concern. Jungkook didn't say anything, instead wriggling out of my arms and letting out a soft sniffling as he hung his head down in an attempt to hide his face.

"Yah, what's up with the tears? Miso arranges this entire surprise thing, only for you to cry?" Yoongi asked in disbelief. I shot him a look that said don't be mean, wait till we find out why he's crying first.

"Jungkookie, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Is it because we didn't plan a lot? Because I'll make it up to you, I promise! Its just that everyone was busy, so I didn't want to interrupt-"

"Miso," Jungkook interrupted, sniffling and holding his head up. My worried expression softened slightly at the sight of his red eyes and scarlet-tipped nose. "Its fine, really," he murmured softly, looking around the room with eyes glistening with tears. I nibbled on my lower lip at the sight of the scruffy banner that read Happy Birthday, Jungkookie! and frowned in shame when my eyes caught the little cake on the counter that I had tried to ice, but really should've let Jin do.

"But its so unorganised and scruffy-" I was cut off by Jungkook's arms wrapping around my small frame, pulling me into a warm bear hug. "Jungkook, what-"

"Miso, its perfect," Jungkook muttered into my neck, and I slowly relaxed into his embrace.

"It better be, she spent the last two weeks planning all of this," Yoongi stated, folding his arms and watching us with amused eyes. I sent him a glare. He wasn't meant to tell Jungkook that!

"Two weeks?" Jungkook repeated, eyes widening as he stared at my face before his eyes started watering again. "Thank you guys so much," he sniffed, dragging the back of his sleeve across his eyes. "It means a lot, really. I honestly thought you had all forgotten when you guys ignored me this morning," he admitted, pursing his lips, "but now I feel bad for assuming that now that I know Miso spent two weeks planning all of this." He gestured towards the bunting and banners decorating the walls and ceiling, and the cake and part food on the counter.

"We would never forget your birthday!" I exclaimed, shaking my head as the other echoed me. Jungkook laughed.

"I mean, I forgot it was my birthday until this morning," he admitted with his signature bunny grin. I snorted, pulling him in for a warm hug again. However, jin clicking his tongue pulled us out of our emotional moment.

"This is adorable guys, but lets cut into the cake now, please," he demanded, raising an eyebrow at the emotional mess that was Jungkook and I.

"Group hug first," I argued, holding my arms out wide and grinning when everyone moved in for a massive hug. "Okay, now we can eat cake!"

After a few more tears and giggles, we finally made it to the counter, taking all the food to the coffee table and snuggling up on the couches to watch a movie together.

"Happy birthday, Jungkook," I whispered, leaning my head on his shoulder and adjusting his arm around my shoulders so that we were both comfy.

"Thank you so much, Miso. I love you all, really."
