It All Started In Green Cabin

Chapter 3

*Leyla

"So... what do you and Ben do back home" I ask just trying to start a conversation.

"Well, both of us are on the football team. Although, Ben isn't very good."

He smiles in a way that I know he's kidding, but I cant help but think that might be true and laugh.

"So what do you do in good Ol' Texas?"

"I'm on the soccer and cheer teams."

"Oh, someone's sporty aren't they?"

"Well you know what they say, everything's bigger in Texas" I say with a wink as a response to his little comment.

Oh my god who am I? Usually when I try to blink it looks like I have a cactus in my eye.

Jack smirks at me and I pretend to look at a plant so he can't see the heat in my cheeks.

"We're here."

Jack's voice surprises me, but when I look up I see a beautiful lake. I can't wait to swim, only Ben let's us know that swimming hours are 3:30 PM to 11 PM. It's 2:45 so we have to wait a little bit.

I look back to see Nicki and Ben have already sat down on MY  towel.

Great.

Jack sees my annoyed face and tells me to sit down on his towel. I want to protest, courtesy of my angry state of mind, but the smile he gives me makes my heart melt so I do as told.

........

I am currently telling Jack the story of my first words when I was 8 months old. He dies of laughter as i tell him they were "selfish dick" as a result of my mom and dad having a fight.

I finish my story. Then Jack tells me about his family. He as a twin sister, who unfortunately could not come on this trip since she is currently getting over a heart break. He has a brother who is one year older then him and one who is two years younger.

He ask me about Texas since he says his family is thinking of moving there. I ask him where and he says Dallas.

I get really excited since I live in Dallas.  I know its stupid but if we became friends on this trip we might still see each other.

We talk about Dallas for a few minutes until Nicki informs us we can now swim.

I take off my Arctic Monkeys t-shirt and Jean shorts to reveal my white and baby blue 2 peice. I catch Jack staring and blush I try to look away but I feel his strong hands turn my eyes to face his.

"You're beautiful"

Ok so please dont get mad. I know I said I would post often but school and writers block hit me like a
bus.

I'm just gonna try and post as much as I can from now on.

On an unrelated note, what do you guys think of Jack calling Leyla beautiful? Do you want them to be more than friends?

What will happen if Jack moves to Dallas?
