She agreed to sleep over at Alex's house pero umuwi muna sya to quickly get changed and para magpaalam sa mommy nya. Ayaw nyang umasa but then sa mga kinikilos at pinaparamdam ni Alex di nya din mapigilang mahulog dito.
"Hi babe" bati sa kanya ni Alex once she got to the house.
"So what's the plan?“ tanong nya dito. "Movie, midnight snacks, a few beers if you're up for it" sabi nito. "Ok" maikling sagot nya dito. "Sa kwarto na tayo nakaset up na yung laptop dun help me with the snacks na lang and the beers" sabi nito na papunta na sa kusina. Once they were drinking their beers while watching a movie. After the movie was done nagdecide sila na magkwentuhan na lang instead of watching another movie.
"Nakailang girlfriends ka na?" tanong ni Karrie kay Alex. "Yung seryoso? Tatlo" sagot nito. "I'm guessing maraming hindi seryoso?" biro ni Karrie sa kanya. "Ahm... Mejo hehe" nakangising sagot nito. "Ikaw? Naka ilang boyfriends ka na?“ pahabol na tanong ni Alex. "Apat lahat seryoso" sagot nya. "Almost 5 years yung pinamamatagal?" follow up question ni Alex. "Oo ikaw?" balik tanong nya dito. "3 years kami ni Cassie" sagot nya kay Karrie.
"What happened? Bakit kayo naghiwalay?" curious na tanong ni Karrie. "I caught her cheating with a guy on our own bed" malungkot na sagot ni Alex. Karrie can see the hurt in Alex's eyes and she wanted to ease her pain away. She touched Alex's cheek. Alex caught her hand and kissed her palm.
