LISA POV

+

it was the day after the seoul music awards and lisa's phone was blowing up with all the notifications about the incident that happened with jungkook. she was coddled up in bed and didn't want to leave because she knew her manager would confront me about it.

when she abstractedly waved at jungkook, lisa didn't think - quite literally - about what would happen after. being an idol is hard because there will be people trying to bring you down and ruin your career. and having a perfect reputation in the kpop industry is extremely difficult because anything could ruin it.

literally what the fuck.

"lisa!?" a familiar voice called out, trying to find her.

"yes?" lisa replied back.

"manager-nim wants you for something important." chaeyoung answered. she got up, not sure of what might happen. the idea of the manager scolding lisa because she had waved at an idol was making heranxious.

lisa hurriedly walked to my manager's office, desperate to get this over and done with. she had  made it the office and exhaled deeply, knocking on the door.

"come in!"

"lisa! please sit down," manager-nim said cheerfully as she sat. even though the manager took the girls' kpop careers very seriously, he still made sure he wasn't putting too much pressure on them by being too strict.

"so, lisa... at the seoul music awards—" he said.

"oh my god! manager-nim, i am so sorry. i am so stupid for doing that! now everyone's going to think i'm dating that fucking jungkook kid and there will be so many rumours and my career will be ruined!" she fastly blurted out.

"lisa, lisa, it's fine. i'm not going to scold you." manager-nim said very softly, trying to calm lisa's fuse down.

"oh, what? why?"

"the reason i am not scolding you and telling you off is that i believe that these interactions with other idols can be beneficial for you. look, i'm not saying that you have to wave at every idol while on stage, i'm just saying, at award shows, you can communicate with idols. don't worry about the dating rumours, they will be easily shut down. you know, the dating ban is still enforced upon idols." manager explained.

"oh, thank you manager-nim" lisa said, a little bit enraged. she opened the door and made her way up to my room.

with the mention of the dating ban, she can't help but feel a little irritated. she's well aware that dating bans are good for idols' careers, but she still wants to live like a human. she doesn't mean to come off ungrateful, so she keeps these feelings in. being an idol, you get to perform, dance, sing, rap, interact with fans and make music, but these regulations, bans, restrictions make her feel like her life is not her own, but a controlled commercial product.

she tried to think of a way to calm herself down. i should just get some fresh air and go outside  she thought. so that's what she did. making her way through the building and feeling the wind brush through her face felt so amazing.

lisa opened the exit doors and tried to think of a place to go. she made my way to the café and bumped into a muscular figure.

"oww..." lisa said as she looked up and saw a familiar-looking man in front of her with a face mask.

"oh! i'm so sorry. i didn't watch where i was going." he said, removing his face mask and revealing the rest of his face, which was even more beautiful. he helped lisa up as she looked at his shoes, then legs, then body and then his face...

"jungkook?
