-Third person point of view-
Ahri: So, you don't remember anything, and on top of that, you can't speak?
2B: Also, you don't know what this place is.
Ruby: This may be a problem.
The guy stood there with an ashamed expression after hearing the girls' thoughts.
Ahri: Well I'm sure it's a problem, but first let's take care of the important question, who are you? And I mean both of you.
Ahri pointed her finger to the other girls, the question took the attention off the guy.
2B: What I told you is everything you need to know. The rest is classified.
Ahri: Ok, so you are not going to say anything, I can live with that. What about you Ruby?
Ruby: I'm a student at Beacon Academy, a huntress in training basically. I don't have much more to say except that, actually.
Ahri: Beacon Academy? I've never heard of that before.
Ruby: What? How could you not know about it? It's the great huntsman academy in the kingdom of Vale.
Ahri: Wow wow wow wow, slow down, kingdom of Vale? Huntsmen academy?
Ruby: Wait, do you really not know about it? Have you heard of the four kingdoms at least?
Ahri: Again, you are saying things that I have never heard before. Or at least I don't think we are thinking about the same kingdoms.
Ruby: Vale, Mistral, Atlas and Vacuo, do any of those sound familiar to you?
Ahri: Nope, I know about Demacia, but beyond that I don't know much. Actually, I never had a big interest on politics, I lived in the institute of war, as a champion of the league.
2B: I've never heard of any kingdom of the ancient world with any of those names, nor of humans having any institute of that nature.
Ruby/Ahri: Ancient world?
While the three girls continue their discussion, the guy climbed up the shrine again and took a new look at his surroundings. Behind him were the girls and a little lake; to his right, far away, was a forest and the morning sun; to his left and front a great plain extended until the horizon. He looked back to the girls and saw they were still discussing.
??? (thoughts): I wonder why I can't talk, it really makes it more difficult for me to communicate with them, and why did I wake up in this place? Well I guess I can't really complain, I mean, how many men can say that they woke up surrounded by three beautiful women like them? But still, I don't understand why I'm here, or why I don't remember anything. This so annoying! And confusing! And I'm getting hungry!
As he stood there immersed in his own thoughts.
Back to the girls.
Ahri: Ok, each of us are saying something completely different from the other two about the world, which reminds me of something weird. I once had a talk with a cosmic being that mentioned the connection between different worlds, so I think that maybe we were summoned to a different one.
Ruby: THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!!! It's just like a comic! or a movie! Do you think this is a fantasy world? or maybe a sci-fi world? Or it could be...
Ahri put a hand on Ruby's mouth to make her stop.
2B: Well, I guess we were summoned here together for a reason, so I suggest we stay together for now.
Ruby, who calmed herself already, was released from Ahri's grip and asked something that came to mind after 2B's suggestion.
Ruby: Wait, if we were really summoned to another world, why do we still have still have our memories while that guy doesn't?
2B: Maybe he came from one of our worlds alongside one of us. But that doesn't really explain his amnesia, or why we don't have any.
Ahri: Maybe it was him who summoned us?
Ruby: Yeah! Maybe he needed the help of legendary heroes from other worlds to protect his people from an upcoming catastrophe!
2B: And I thought 6O was cheerful.
Ruby: Who?
2B: Forget it, it doesn't matter now.
Ahri: Ok now, if we are really going to stay together from now on, we need to get to know each other a little more. Ruby already told us a couple of things about her and her world, but just to understand a little more, what is a huntress, Ruby?
Ruby: Oh, huntsmen and huntresses are the protectors of my world. We are the ones who fight for the people that can't defend themselves from the creatures of Grimm, monsters that existed even before humanity started to have a notion of civilization. We don't have a clear answer of what they are exactly, and the fact that their corpses vanish seconds after their deaths have made the investigation even more difficult. But what we know is that they are a natural hazard for life in general; they always want to destroy and kill. Some think that they are a natural response of the planet to keep a balance in life, others say that they are a divine punishment, and so on.
Ahri: So huntsmen and huntresses are like heroes in your world? And you want to be one?
2B: Don't take this the wrong way, but you hardly look like a threat.
Ahri: Yeah, you look like a harmless, cute little girl.
Ruby: Who are you calling harmless? I'll cut you!
Ruby took a red metallic device attached to her back, converting it into a 2 meter scythe. Immediately after that, both Ahri and 2B stepped back, surprised by the giant weapon, but more surprised by the fact that such a small and cute looking girl could manage to carry that with her.
The guy returned to reality when he heard the sound of Ruby thrusting her scythe on the ground, and just like Ahri and 2B, he was really surprised. Thinking that they were going to fight, he dashed down the shrine to stop the girls.
When he arrived to Ruby's side, she reacted immediately and pointed the top of her weapon at the guy, causing him to start shaking in fear.
Ahri: OK! YOU ARE NOT HARMLESS! Please put the weapon down!
Ruby lowered her weapon with a face that showed she was proud with herself, however the next moment the guy felt to his knees with a pale face.
Ruby: Jeje, sorry about that.
The guy gave her a thumbs up, as if saying that it was ok, but his face showed the opposite. Ahri showed a scolding stare to Ruby, making her feel a little ashamed of what she just did. Then the guy started to make weird movements with his arms, like he was trying to say something, but none of the girls seemed to understand. Noticing this, the guy was going to write on the ground again when Ruby spoke.
Ruby: Hey, I think I have something that may help you to talk.
Hearing this, the guy's face became brighter, showing a smile filled with purity.
Ruby (thoughts): Wow, cute.
Ahri: Now that I see you well, you are actually handsome, and your expressions make you look pretty cute.
